This is the best ld game I’ve played so far, I’m so freaking Impressed!
I have a lot of things to say about this, I’ll try to keep it short though...

**Concerning the graphics**, this is the most pleasing aesthetics of a game I’ve ever seen.
It reminds me of the “Don't starve” art a little bit.
The music really helped to set the mood, and the sound effects are flipping powerful!

If have nothing to complain about, but I have some feedback for you guys.
The sound sometimes fucked up, I don’t know if it was because off my computer but you should take a look at it.
In my opinion the game was a little bit too easy, but maybe it was because I built a base full of turrets in the middle. And the grenade launcher was a bit overpower. (It really saved my ass some times though!) The only reason I died was because of researching the map. I build too many lights and then wave 21 started.
Is the map infinite?

**Overall** I loved this game and had an amazing time playing it for over 30 minutes, keep the good work up guys! You deserve much more ratings by the way.
Thank you so much for this experience and good luck in the future!
Have an awesome day, and I hope to see you in the next jam!

The graphics of this game were really well done! Some things that I would have liked to have seen would be a restart button when you die (instead of having to refresh the page) and a start wave button if you want to start the next wave early instead of waiting 20 seconds. Overall though, nicely done!

This game is great. I have mixed feelings because is basically an improved, slightly different version of my own game.
The "only consume energy in the dark" is a great idea. The enemies are varied and distinct.
The game needed a little more of "juice": the enemies attack lacks "impact".

So far is the game I played with the strongest "finished game" feeling. Congratulations! I enjoyed playing it, it became challenging at some point, although it turned so much into a bullet hell that before it could get difficult enough, the game was lagging too much to be able to play.
Starting level 7 I lost the sound for some seconds at the beginning of the level.

Regarding the mechanics, I think you got the basics covered, but the fact that turrets pile up and never break or get broken makes it too easy. Also it would be nice to find something when "exploring". Expanding the defending area seems to make no sense since there is no reward, and it's more efficient to put all turrets together and keep close to them.

Asides from that, good art and mood, no issues asides the lagging... so good work everyone!

Great game! I only had one problem and that was the fact that I did not know how much power "200" was. When i bought a torrent i had like 1 hp left and died instantly. Perhaps you should be able to see it somehow.

Great game, love the artwork and ideas, and great gameplay! Only thing I would say is it got quite easy after I'd built a few turrets

Good game ! The graphics are good, the music and sounds are fine, and the gameplay is fun and doesn't get repetitive (as new enemies, items or power-ups appear often). As energy is used as life AND money, the player need to find a balance between new items and health.
Good job guys !

A nice take on the theme and a very interesting but also fun gameplay. I love the risk reward in buying items between waves, nice idea.

I wish it was easier to start a new game again, the game is just stuck here, whenever you die.
Also the music can be a little monotone, especially when playing many times.

Nice job

Great game overall, but when you have a system that requires certain items to continue or else you lose, the drop rates have to be balanced. I played the game 5 times from the beginning and only got one battery out of all the playthroughs. Also, at least make a way to reset the game other than refreshing.

The game is a bit too hard for me. The 1st wave should die more easily and leave pick-ups more often. But the graphics and subtile animation are cool, so as the music and Sfx. I want more but easier;-)

I liked the art and the gameplay overall, it miss a restart button, and also you could improve a lot the game implementing the tecniques described on the video "the art of screenshake". Nice entry

This game is good. Not a big fan of the style & it was a bit easy to my taste, but otherwise I really liked it!

Pretty fun game, feels pretty solid. Though I found the RNG of the drops hurting me a fair bit.

This is a good game. But, at times it seems too easy, but that could just be me.

Perfect game !
Graphics , Music , the waves !
I would add a boss battle and upgradeable items . Also ... when the character dies , I can not find a replay button .
