Really cool idea, I can't believe nobody else has noticed it yet. I had a little trouble making progress since my keyboard doesn't have a right-ctrl button. But swinging rope and sliding blocks are platformer mechanics I can get behind, and I like that you blended puzzles and action instead of going all one way or the other. And I know from experience that pulling off multiplayer in a jam game is tough. Awesome job!

Very rough around the edges and we had to work around the bugs (mostly with the camera) to be able to play it. But the idea is good and the mechanic of choosing what to sacrifice was really interesting. The ending is also fun. After playing through once we actually went back and tried to see how far we could get without sacrificing anything, which was surprisingly far. we were trying to see if there was a way to beat the game with both players alive, which would have been a cool alternate ending. Like I said its very rough around the edges but clearly engaging as we spent a lot of time with it. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback!
@johnlee-cooper we were going to add an alternate ending just like you expected. Too bad there wasn't enough time for that :joy:. Glad you enjoyed it.

Very few go for multiplayer, so my hat is off to you for that. Platforming with puzzle mechanics (and a swinging mechanic!) is a win for me. Good job!

Nice coop game! (I did it solo) The platforming and doublejumping went fine, but I had trouble using the 'hook' - I could not get anything to trigger that, so got stuck :(
The music and sound effects were cool, the music a bit too happy perhaps. Good to have a little intro story too.

A good stylish entry, but it hard to play alone (or I misunderstood the concept?)

Hey Kiv! Thanks for your comment. Did you know that you can also sacrifice your partner's abilities? That way, you get to retain yours? Some may say that's quite cruel, but hey, a the reaper had a demand... and he was determined to face death 'til the end - your character's death, that is.

Have your rating hehe, pretty cool concept. Just was a little annoying to play for me as I had to do it solo, maybe I should try it with a friend one day. There were a few minor bugs but nothing that hindered game play too much. Well done!

I tried it with a friend but we couldn't really figure out what to do. The game looked good and it was fun to play co-op but again we didn't know what to do. I think the idea was interesting though.
