You find yourself in a freezing cold evening on a frozen lake.

Now, all the snowmen have gone crazy and can't find their way back home into their fridges.

Guide them to reach the boxes that match the color of their scarfs!

Collectable Power-Ups

  • Coffee (Raises Speed) coffee.png
  • Mulled Wine (Slows down) wine.png
  • Pillow (Take a rest) pillow.png
  • Multi-Color Scarf (Every fridge could be your home now! But beware of collisions now) scarf.png

Known Bugs - Clipping errors with the exit boxes - Spawning of new Snowmen is sometimes a bit unfair, but I had no time to do proper balancing :-) - The colored boxes were supposed to be fridges, but also had no time left for that

External Stuff I used - Sounds made with Bfxr v1.4.1 (https://www.bfxr.net/) - Font by Måns Grebäck (contact@aringtypeface.com, www.aringtypeface.com)

Hey there :) Just one problem, I don't seem to understand how to "fridge" a snowman :/

Just wanted to leave a comment so you can understand maybe why your game may not get a lot of feedback; I couldn't open the game because I don't have Java installed. I'll install it and come back to your game in a bit.

I'm sorry for the trouble. :-/ But, I made an HTML version now and uploaded it to itch.io!

Hey @frittatenbank, just tried the game on web and couldn't figure out how to control the snowmen. It looks like a really cute game but can you add some quick instructions?

@frittatenbank I think the controls on the HTML version are not working? Clicking / key pressing does nothing?

Nice game. It took me a while to realise that I was supposed to put the snowman inside the box (didn't read the instructions, so my bad...) and the controls are a bit difficult to grasp (the delay on turning is a bit annoying). Other than that, it was very nice. Good music too.

The controls in your game are very difficult to find out.. I needed about 8 times to do so. Maybe you could add some description and information on your publishing side! I searched for any information and didn't find something. Graphics are sweet though and the music is catchy. Keep improving the game!

I found your game very hard to control. Am I right that you can only change the snowman's path if you click very close to its feet? There was little indication that this was the case. Also it seems you added some sliding mechanic, which added to the confusion as sometimes even when I thought I clicked the right place, the snowman would not respond due to its inertia.

Maybe having some visual indication may have helped make things clearer, like a ring around the snowman's feet to indicate where the player can click. Also having some sort of visual or audio clue when the snowman is sliding may also help gain control over the situation.

On the upside, you create a very soothing atmosphere which is in great part due to the awesome, relaxing soundtrack.
