You're the best rancher in the Galaxy. You know it, the council knows it, everyone knows it.

You don't need silly looped ropes, zapping weapons, or barking furry creatures. No, you use the land itself. That is how a real rancher herds.

Naturally, you were delighted to find this purple-ish planet with it's highly herd-able creatures. So, you're going to do what you do best. Herd as many of these creatures as you can, across the map. And as every experienced rancher knows, the more you have, the worse it is.

Controls: LMB on ground: place wall LMB on wall or red tree: destroy

Hint: Try leading the herd by holding lmb and drawing curves

That's a good idea you have here! However, I don't have as many creatures as you have in the trailer (by the way, it's awesome that you had time to do one), are they supposed to naturally come during a playthrough?

@kegnarok They are waiting for you later down the line, we thought it would be good to first let the player get a feel of how to control the ai, and then give them loads of animals to herd.

Tho indeed we might have better added that earlier in the level since having a lot of animals in your herd makes the game shine :)

amazing!

Great concept, with nice art and SFX. I think it might be better if you accumulated creatures more frequently, to emphasize the challenge of herding a larger group.

I uploaded a balance patch in which more creatures come earlier and increased the speed of the creatures in the later stages of the game. It should fix the boring start and no challenge in the end game :)

Very cool game! The world looks beautiful and the creatures have fun animations. The music also adds to the great mood for this game. I liked that you were picking up more members of the herd as you go along, only in my case I had quite a few casualties along the way :) so my group stayed small. Controls where a bit challenging at first but got easier after playing for a while.

Brilliant, seriously I spent a lot of time playing.
I hope you can conclude with more difficulties, characters and challenges.

The game fits perfectly with the theme. As I got more and more in my herd, it became harder and harder to handle. Awesome job!

This game looks awesome, and plays awesome... until the camera decides to lock on to a handful of animals way back from your group of 20-odd that are now inevitably rolling to their deaths. Perhaps it would be best to lock on to the furthest forward group, rather than the largest, or whatever else is making the camera jump back from the leaders?

@dmoir - man, thanks a TON for the wonderful video review! I'm glad somebody else was able to recall the Lemmings game (sure are making me feel my age here) :D It was a blast making this game and we're glad you had fun playing it.

Fun little game! I found it kinda annoying the way it jumped to another pack when yours died or something, so I didn't push too much past that. I also noticed when I just had one little guy, it was hard to get new guys to follow you.

@nardandas Glad you enjoyed it! Those are great points that we would definitely look into some design solutions for if we take this game any further

Really neat. I wish you could draw line instead of block, but overall the creature's movement was very well done and felt controllable and manageable. I liked the stylish graphics and the sound and music was great, especially the little animal squeaks. Nice!

Ace game! Well done on making such good audio and graphics in such a short space of time :) I found the game a little confusing at first, though; perhaps there could have been a tutorial to teach new players what to do. However, I really enjoyed the game once I started to understand it. Great job!
