LD40 - Snake by Torhaq
Here is my game for the LD40 Jam entry: Snake
It's an small snake-like game. The gameplay is pretty simple: Eat fruits (apple) to earn points. But, be carefull, the more your eat, the more you are growing.

Controls
- Left and right arrow to turn
- "Fire button" to give a boost to the snake
(A gamepad should work fine as well)
Gameplay
- If your head touch your body, you lose. (the trees are deadly too).
- The walls doesn't "kill" you but bounce you, so be aware of the angle.
- To help you, a "pill" will sometime spawn to reduce your body part if you pick it up.
Conclusion
I had many ideas, but not enough time to implement them (weather system with night mode, more fruits and bonus, multiplayer splitted screen). Maybe later...
Thanks all, have fun, and most important, don't hesitate to give me your feedback.

Good Job!
**Innovation:** Gameplay taken straight out from classic snake game.
**Theme:** Suits the theme pretty well!
**Graphics:** The game's strongest aspect. The game has really decent graphics!
**Audio:** There is nothing to say about though.
**Humor:** Not much humor.
**Mood:** No mood.
Overall, I think the game is pretty decent. Although the length of the game is pretty short, the game is nice & fun to play! :)
And very nice GUI design too!
I liked the art and sound, though. The light cone was a nice touch.
My main problem gameplay-wise is that the bounce angle is not particularly intuitive, and I think that this is because it sort of relies on what the player is doing at the time of collision (i.e. where they are trying to steer).
Great job:)
