Starting the .exe made my PC freeze which was not so cool.
But it got itself under control after a few seconds.

The game itself was really good and polished. I'am really surprised by the amount of content. Many "bosses" and also great level of detail. (I loved that the railway could get destroyed and the trains would fall down then, very nice)
Also, did you draw that Donkey Kong yourself? Looked like the real deal lol. Nice Half life reference also.

Don't have anything bad to say but the freeze at the beginning. Good job!
If you don't mind check out my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/just-another-space-game

Hey, this is a very good game for the Compo. I loved whizzing around the city raining hellfire on ~~innocent civillians~~ villains. Flying was very responsive and enjoyable, warping was extremely fun and in general, it's a very, very fun game. The game also has beautiful pixel art, the background really adds some depth to this world and in general, the game looks and sounds great. My biggest gripe with this game is its difficulty. I've never felt in great panic during the game. In fact, I think I only lost more than half of my health once. I eventually conceded at ~~100,000 dead civilians~~ 44 dead villains otherwise a very, very enjoyable game. Well Done!

I loved this. Never has the accidental mass-murder of so many civilians been so fun :joy: I would love to see the collateral damage even more OTT with MOAR explosions.

Hahaha, This is freaking sweet. Pity I'm on a mac, I'm hesitant to critique and rate just on what I can see. But it's such a fantastic idea, and looks extremely well executed.

Really fun game to play, I start out wanting to avoid the civilians, then by the end decide that a ground level firing of the eye-lazor is the most effective way to do things. I really like the art style, and all of the weapons felt like they had a place and a time to use them. I think that the game may have benefited from something like a mega-boss or the civilians attacking you once you got to full power, and presumably gave up on the protection business. "the needs of the many" and all that.

I had a lot of fun playing this game, it was a good time.

This is cool, and I quite like a lot of the ideas used in it. The audio needs a bit of work, though.

Fun game to play with a very retro feel to it. The music was a bit repetitive, especially after a while. It would be nice to have a longer piece or different pieces that it switches between after a while. Overall, nicely done.

Great Game! It's really satisfying to play your game!
Appreciate that you design lots of different enemies and you make all the objects destroyable!
huh. I think the best way to keep citizens away from danger is to make there no more citizens.:smiling_imp:

We finally see the true face of superheroes : mass murderer :D
It's a really clever take on the theme, and I'm absolutely impressed by the level of interactions that you managed to pull out in such a short period of time, and alone!

It feels great to play as well, and I'll definitely not watch superman the same way ever again.

Great job!

Extremely polished game that plays well and looks fantastic, I really enjoyed it. The progression of powers being unlocked and upgraded gives you a real feeling of becoming more powerful! Of course, as you do, your collateral damage damage increases, which I interpreted as a match to the theme. The interactivity of the world is very well done, and adds a lot to the sense of chaos. The enemy design is clever, fostering the use of your different powers to try and deal with them with minimal casualties. My only criticism is that the audio could be improved, as the music is very basic. Very well done!
