The gameplay has a nice heavy feel to it that makes it challenging and fun. The sound effects were also one of my favorite aspects and made it extra enjoyable. Solid game, nice work!

A Really solid and well made core to a game, but there wasn't much to do after mastering the core Movement and Aim/Shoot mechanics.

Terrible repeating sound bug if you die with score 0 :) Was fun once I got the hang of it. On mouse/keyboard, it was difficult to juggle mouse / movement / powerups, probably with some practice it'd be more intuitive. Auto-powerups, or pickups for powerup might be a neat solution.

Extremely cute concept, art, and sounds :) I _love_ the powerup indicators — works as both simple UI for what I already have, and a subtle punishment for maxing out one thing too early.

I suppose this would be easier to play if I had the xbox-style controller it was intended for! I kept forgetting what the powerups did, and on a keyboard, I couldn't even remember which key matched which direction, so I kept buying the same thing multiple times and dooming myself. Oops. It might've worked better to use four keys that form a grid, like 2/4/6/8 on the numpad. I think you could find some creative ways to indicate what each powerup does, too — like make the "cannon" the same color as the aiming speed powerup, and the bullets the same color as the firing speed powerup.

After 3 or more fire rate upgrades, the shooting sound became a bit unbearable to listen to. Lowering its volume would improve things considerably.

Really love how the difficulty scales with your upgrades just by virtue of increasing your hitbox. That's super clever and I don't think I've ever seen any wave shooters like this try that before.
