I love the game by the way
This game feels like an advertisement on cruelty for game characters.
The ending sound effect is miserable. This effect runs on loop at the end, but ultimately hurts my ears. Its a strange note to end the game on, and one that isn't particularly favourable. I also think that there was many opportunities for smart events in there that you missed out on. The button could have been stolen or hidden by the monsters, or maybe different sounds played depending on the proximity to the button, with increased desperation as you near it to end their lives.
Also, this doesn't quite work with the theme of sacrifice; i'd sooner call it massacre than sacrifice. It lacks purpose, reward and penalty, all of which are important features of a sacrifice. The characters are set up as noble beings in the conclusion, but their actions in the game suggest that they would rather be somewhere else, so this fits the definition of torture better than sacrifice.
Interestingly enough, this one doesn't seem as ambitious as your other LD43 game, and I think that plays in this one's favour. The simplicity of the idea coupled with the characteristic art style makes this a delightful playthrough, and I almost forgot that this is really just a bunch of cut-scenes, barely able to be called a game. This puts more focus on what you do best; the art and dark humour. I think this clearly establishes the importance of playing to your own strengths, especially under jam conditions. Overall, the humour is funny, but there is certainly things to be improved and learnt, like most things in life!
At first i think "Wow, this game is strange and looking very simple". And then i just keep clicking smiling, without thinking))
Still have that grin on my face....
And Noa, didn't know you were so good at voice acting. Thanks for sharing your crazy creations with us ;)
Really good voice over. Good humor. Nice animations and graphics.
Just like @rk3omega said, I've waited several minutes expecting for more content after the sentence, but thenb I realized it was over.
Good job!
As usual, I love your art and audio.
I think it's just missing some background music/noise, as when the character finish talking there is nothing anymore, so it cut a bit to abruptly the voice. But you made this at the end so I guess it's comprehensible.
All in all, really great game!
"The ultimate part..." was... incredible.
As expected from you, Noa.

After 2 clicks, I thought this would be just a clicker of sorts, so I started just mindlessly pressing the button until I happened to reach the ending. When I read it and found out what was the point of it all, I replayed it and oh god what have I done.
Very simple in presentation, and not much of a game. But regardless, this is a great entry as a very interesting piece of interactive media. I really liked the graphics, which had some sort of old-timey flash style mixed with something that I'd expect to see from The Binding of Isaac. If anything, I applaud it for making me feel bad when my first instinct was to think of it as a "pointless clicker". Given the theme, calling it pointless would mean that one's already dehumanized.
Fantastic entry. I'll send it to [my team](discord.whalesandgames.com) to see if they'd like to check it out too. So far, you've got a great thumbs up from me. Keep up the good work! :whale:
Good work! :D
I really like your art!
Good game.
* I liked how the dialog of some of the human characters that I killed made me feel guilty.
One Concept I Disliked:
* I disliked the fact that if you press the button pretty fast, the player will not hear the dialog of the characters that are killed and therefore will not really feel guilty.
