Sneaky Beats by gamesplusjames
Sneaking missions just got a whole lot louder, it's time for some SNEAKY BEATS!
Solve over 18 levels (there's 19) of rocking infiltration goodness with just your wits and some sweet guitar licks!

Hack computers & locked doors using the power of your mighty axe!

If you're sneaky enough you might be able to knock a guard out from behind but be careful, it won't end well if they catch you!

But then you play it, and realise it's a wonderfully created and designed game that provokes stress, relief and satisfaction as you slam out those licks and sneak your way past those pesky guards.
The level select screen shows that the game has some class, and I'm sure with more time you could add a bigger range of guitar rhythm sections to vary the gameplay some more. Really impressed with how you merged these two game types.
Thanks!
(excited to try your game out!)
Overall, the game has a super high level of polish. The menus and sound effects are all great.
My only criticism is that there were only 3 rhythm parts! I'm sure it was a time issue, so I understand. I would play a whole game around this mechanic for sure!
And dificult. At a certain point I just said "Screw it! That's going too far!".
- Bug in level 3 (the one with 4 buttons): When I press the Open button on the top left I automatically slide to the right.
- It seems I can press all four music buttons to win the rhythm part. Even when I press when no note is supposed to be pressed?
- When I'm not mashing all buttons it's hard to get the right timing. I'm not a Guitar Hero god but I'm not bad either so maybe this is unnecessarily punishing. Maybe you could stretch the window.
That's about it, overall this game is still a hit for me. Especially since I also made a stealth + music game  . Hope you find my feedback helpful.
I think the rhythm part would have been easier to play if it was showed vertically, so the keyboard keys would match the orientation on the screen, I still got it but it may be difficult when the player is not used to rhythm games ^^'
I went to level 18 but didn't finished it. Some of the levels had their exit in front of the character, without having to hack/open anything, was is normal?
Overall, a great and fun game that runs smoothly and that's quite a lot in 3 days!
Nice entry, it shows how creative people can be when it comes to find out new "lockpicking/hacking" system, hah :D Nice solution with people, who could just run through level - there is just rank - if you get caught it decreases (i guess) :D Controls are bit confusing, but I don't know how else it could be on keyboard, so probably it is better on gamepad :D Probably game needs some polishing - animations, screenshake when you pressed key correctly on the bit etc. :D But overall - it is okay.
You are welcome to try my game too! :D
There were times where, I have to admit, I forced my way thought rather than staying sneaky (I think the enemies should run a little bit faster to prevent that) but the levels still seemed cleverly designed (with the exceptions of 2 which had their exit...right in front of the spawn :p )
Audio is also pretty nice, it made the usually boring hacking part fun to do.
Great job!
(btw, I learned a lot of what I know about Unity using your channel for the past few years, so thank you)
I have some minor nitpicking things though. I use the keyboard (or controller) the whole game. Why do I need to use the mouse to click buttons on the start menu or the death screen? Secondly, it put me off a bit the first time I did a new song, because the speed of the notes indicator thing was different. I think it would have been better if you had it stationary and moved the notes towards you instead, at a constant speed (like in Guitar Hero). For the longer songs some of the notes would simply start outside of the screen. Hope that made sense. Lastly, I found it a bit weird that you spawned right next to the exit on some levels. I understand the idea of letting completionists do all the extra missions and let others skip the most difficult parts, but having the exit right next to the spawn is a bit weird in my opinion.
Either way, great job! :)
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.
