Controls are a bit weird. Half the time I clicked, nothing happened even though I was definitely aiming properly. Also, especially with the mouse inertia (which is a cool effect), it's way too easy to suddenly click next to the window and lose focus.
Apart from those, it works well and is fun for a few minutes.

It's a nice quick and casual game to play and really to get right away. De main audio is a bit messy in my opinion and the game is not really innovative as there is not really a new or interesting mechanic. Other than that, it's a solid and polished entry!

The graphics were fun and cute. Killing the sheep felt satisfying and I liked that some were hidden behind the building. Got a high score of 20. My main complaint, though, is that the mouse tends to go off screen if you're not careful which causes the window to go unfocused. It would be great if you could go fullscreen or restrict the mouse to the window.

Cool concept! Sheep were so cute I didn't want to sacrifice them but had to do it anyway

@frank-gevaerts You have to shoot after a delay of 0.2 seconds or so (when it beeps and your cursor lights up)

@jequed Thank you; I agree about the clicking other windows but unfortunately I was unable to include a fullscreen feature within the time limit

I agree with some of the other responses that a fullscreen feature would be a worthwhile improvement to prevent selecting outside of the screen (or in my case, onto another monitor). Other than that, I enjoyed the simplicity of the mechanics and style of the game. The mouse inertia was a cool effect. With that being said, it does not have a lot of replay value with the same scene and basic mechanic throughout. Keep up the good work.

@jequed Version 1.1.0 is now fullscreen

@drekler Thank you for your criticism; also, the latest release of the game supports fullscreen.

Very simple game, but it was very good! The music was nice, the ding was kinda annoying. The graphics were perfect. I encourage you to make a post LD version of this game with powerups and maybe multiplayer battles. Overall, good game.

I really liked the art style. The controls were a little weird and drifty, but I got used to them after a bit. The firing seemed really non-responsive - I could only fire maybe one click out of five, and there seemed maybe to be a long time-out between shots. Really great looking game.

Gods better appreciate this. These are some fine sheep.

Very basic, but functional game. If anything, I appreciate the somewhat unreliable inertia of the mouse, which made this a more unique and actually fun game than it would have been with a more 1:1 clicking output. For all intents and purposes though, the game was quite polished, delivering a cohesive experience. But still, there's not much to it after a couple of rounds. Try to add a bit more "oomph" next time around, but do not become a victim of feature creep.

However, take in mind this for any and all of your future projects if possible. Add a quit button or key if it'll be played in full screen. Just a small detail that's always good to have, instead of forcing the good old Alt+F4.

Anyhow, good job making it to the jam. [My team](discord.whalesandgames.com) are looking forward to whatever you can bring up next time. Cheers! :whale:

Simple and well put together. After a few goes the challenge wears off and it gets a bit repeatitive. I liked the menu to gameplay transition. Good job
