Evolator by Peringo

[raw]
made by Peringo for LD35 (JAM)
Story:
After a long time Evolator Inc. is finally hiring again! Whoever reaches the top floor of their building first shall get the job. Since they pay very well, everyone wants the job - Elevator Warfare ensues. These Elevators, however, are not normal - they change shape and adjust to the person within.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to play:
It´s basically an endless bullet hell game on rails - use the Arrow keys to move and shoot. By blocking, you can evade any damage for a short period of time (there is a cooldown though, so watch out!)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some Words:
This is the first game we have ever done, and while it sure has some critical flaws, like the shapeshifting theme not being used too much, we are kinda happy with the result! Please rate us and tell us everything that could be improved!

Hey I played the game and it worked for the first guy with the flamethrower. I liked it overall and it is interesting. As a first game you made it awesome. Keep it coming!
But I got the following when playing the purlpe guy:

Used another player, no crash. Nice game, especially for a first game, but doesn't know how it fits the theme...

I especially love the music :).

Cool game, I really enjoyed the music!

I found it strange that I could use WASD in the menu, but not in the game itself.

Try to export as an executable, rather than an installer, next time.

Great tunes and cute graphics. (Also, since someone mentioned how they hate installers, you can build a stand-alone exe if you choose the exe option from the bottom of the Save Location window when you export. It defaults to that silly installer every time you attempt an export.)

It's a very good start, and I enjoyed it - but it could maybe do with sticking to the theme a bit more!

Thanks a lot to all of your comments! I tried to fix this error that shows up to everyone who played it, but I couldn't find a solution. So I'm really sorry for that. And thanks for the hint with the exe ;D I will do it next time.
