I definitely see the inspiration by Donkey Kong ;)

Nice! I was really surprised when I realized that the world was changing every time I respawned -- really improved replayability. Super-challenging, but fair, and tons of fun!

I'm the number one now! Died because I didn't see I was going that far. But super fun, it's like the barrel parts of DKC but on its own game. I'm not sure about what genres are being mixed, maybe put in the description? Loads of fun.

Awesome job!

Things I liked:
> User interface was fantastic. Nice use of visual cues and prompts. I generally always knew what I had to do next and how to get there thanks to clever camera work.
> Some very pretty low-poly 3D models. There were some cool particle effects (including, for no apparent reason, white dust going upwards?) and the whole thing didn't lag one bit. I especially liked the backdrop.
> Physics was on-point in a totally unrealistic, crazy fun way.

Ideas for next time:
> Space travel and historical time-period would be ok, but there wasn't a lot of "medieval" stuff here. Yes there's cannons and a castle in the background, but being shot around in a spacesuit from flying cannons is (if anything) clearly something from the future. This lack of balance made the theme hard to get.
> I liked the variation in the levels - it added to the replayability a lot - but some generated levels were literally impossible because it set you up after a few cannons to go straight into a spikey ball (automatically with no escape).
> I like sound.

Overall this was a fun, arcady experience that I enjoyed reviewing.

Very fun! I loved the ability to see others' scores, and the game was quite enjoyable. I did seem to deviate from the LD theme, but it is no less great of a game for it :)

Very fun game! I think its procedurally generated, very clever. I finally got into the top 20, great idea to have a leaderboard.

It is actually procedurally generated :) Nice to see you on our leaderboard!

Nice idea and props for the leaderboard! Graphics are also charming. I was left hoping for some catchy music and sound effects to keep playing longer but you cannot have them all during a marathon! :)

Wow! I loved it! Really fun game. One thing: you could be fired by a cannon over the edge of the playable area and float in space indefinitly.

Very fun little game. Doesn't seem to reflect the theme a whole lot but still fun

Rather fun game indeed :D and reminds me of the cat cannon (a very old browser game which i played like 10 years ago, it was quite bloody though)

Very nice!
The game is really fun and nicely polished. I really liked the graphics, especially the duck animation, so funny :D
One question - does the game help you? When there were trails by coins, it seemed like if I was close enough it would fire me in the right direction...
It's really amazing how many things for better player experience (the camera is also really good) you have managed to put into the game - these are mostly the things LD games lack...

Thanks for the kind words, everybody!

@Altron In the rotating cannons, if the player misses the correct angle only by a little bit, we do indeed help them out, as longer shots were quite frustrating otherwise. We considered adding in a "hard mode" without this help but didn't get around to it. It probably wouldn't be a lot of fun.

fun little game - the only thing missing was some nice sound effects - great job
