Wow! That's a big hole! by LuppaTeam

Our first game! It's the year 22XX and humans have discovered a way to enter Blackholes. After some expeditions, it became apparent that they, in fact, were some sort of a transportation system made by an ancient alien civilization. Unfortunately, all that's left from them is tons of wreckage. Fortunately, it is very valuable among scientists and wealthy collectors.

You are the pilot of a cargo ship tasked with retrieving wreckage from the Blackhole MKA-7302 in the distant Andromeda galaxy. However, when you arrive on the base established on the edge of the Blackhole, you are told that due to the severe budget cuts, your cargo bay can only hold a little ammount of wreckage at a time, which means that you'll have to return to the base each time you fill it up. What's worse, even with all its masters long gone, the ancient security system of the MKA-7302 is still functional, which means the longer you spend inside the abyss, the more security drones will try to eliminate you. With that said, the longer you stay there, the more valuable each piece of wreckage you get becomes.

Nevertheless, you decide to take the job. It seems that you'll be staying there for a while. After all, that's a big hole! Screem1.pngScreem2.pngScreem3.png

  • The more enemies you have on screen, the pricier the wreckage parts are.

  • When your cargo bay is filled up, you have to go back to the base to drop it off. It will do so automatically once you approach the gate.

  • The gun may destroy one enemy, but it also brings down their overall number and with it, the wreckage prices as well.

  • There also is an easter egg on the background. You may find it if you look closely enough.

Nice game, it's a fun little experience! Felt like I had to play a little too long before I got any upgrades would have been nice to get them sooner. Well done!

Pretty fun game, getting more money the more enemies there are is a nice mechanic that pushes you to play more dangerously. I'm personally not a fan of the graphics but some people might like them, I found the sound design really good.

Pretty good overall, I liked it.

The upgrades should come much more often! I got 4 full loads back and wasn't even 1/5th of the way to getting my *first* upgrade! Also, one of the pieces of cargo spawned out of bounds and I had to go drop off my haul to get it to reset. I liked the idea. Good job on it!
