Also, I noticed that sometimes it's impossible to escape : all the three roadways are in same time taken by "non-desired people", maybe could you do something to avoid that event takes place?
It's rated.
I really liked you music, and the concept was really interesting! Good job!
- Gameplay
* Give visual feedback when the player collide with an opponent.
* Give visual information concerning the people you have to avoid.
* Give ui informations about the remaining life of the player.
* Give ui informations about the progression of the game, or make the player understand that
the game has no end.
* Have a better procedural content generator.
Consistent randomness is better than randomness.
In fact, sometime the player can't avoid opponent (it feels unfair).
- Realisation
* Add some musics.
* Add some sfx.
* Add some menus (main menu, game-over menu)
* Add some animation.
The little pixel persons looks good, so congratulations on those. But for the gameplay, I missed some objective for it, maybe if you included some score that increases over time, would be a nice way to make it more engaging.
Good one!
There is always a lot of polishing that can be done, you'll figure out as you participate more. :wink:
Adding multiple levels with increasing difficulty would have made this much more fun, where the first level you only need to remember one friend, second level another friend, etc. And then it'd be okay to randomize the friends' outfits each play-through... You could have then added a bit of humor by adding why you were avoiding this or that person.
Good work on first entry!
