This is my first Ludum Dare. Got here a bit late with 14 hours to go. Carnage combines Driving with Tower/Castle Defence, which i think are two pretty incompatible genres but what i have designed should be at least fun for a little while. Hope you enjoy :)
Tools used to create this game: Aseprite, sfxr and Game Maker Studio 1.4
About the game:
You are in a high speed pursuit down the highway trying to escape the mafia.

Hire help when you have enough cash to increase your chance of getting away. (This happens automatically)

I'm really miss the music here.
Some enemy tanks shooting to fast for me.
May be enemies needs to be a little slower, but more on the screen?

It's pretty hard to dodge. Maybe the players car could be a bit faster to maneuver.
@benskca Thanks for the feedback, i agree music would add a lot to the game, i didn't want to ruin it by adding my own music (I'm not very good at sound tracks lol). Control over the ally cars does sound interesting i'll have to look into it further. Thanks again
Thanks alot for the feedback i love the idea of being able to shoot rockets out of the sky. After LD41 is over i will be continuing development of the game i'll be sure to add that idea. Someone else mentioned the difficulty in dodging enemies, i think what i'm going to do is have the players vehicle upgradable in the future so you can upgrade damage, firerate, movement speed, acceleration etc... Thanks alot for the feedback, the bikes can be tricky there is a nack to them which i liked during development i do agree with you however that they are difficult to see i will be fixing that issue in the near future. I'm glad you enjoyed the game and thanks again for the feedback!
