We had a hard time finish in time and we had to work on monday, so it’s a 48h jam :)
I really want to keep working on this game and see where it goes, so i would love to get your feedback :)

As for the game I was like, eh another platformer, and then I got the weed and just laughed out loud. The visuals and audio all came together there. Really good job with that moment.
- But I wonder why I get GameOver when I reach the end of the level ?
- Also the game over sounds is a little bit to annoying if you here it to often and
- I miss some dynamic elements like moving plattforms which would add more fun to the game
Not sure how it fits the theme though? Also I fell off the end of the map the first time I picked up the weed at the end which was a bit annoying.
I deployed a fix, you can't go out of the world anymore :)

Too bad you couldn't fit the story of the guy! :( Story is what makes a game memorable!

Would like a little more content though and I dont know how this fits the theme.
Maybe "the more you have, the worse it gets" is directed towards the weed, because the level changes after that and gets more difficult, but I would love to see a little more :)
The mix of detailed characters and pixel city works surprisingly well,
I would put a small black outline on the foreground elements to improve readability.
@trabitboy: I'm sorry to hear about the performance drop :( I will try to fix it, the black outline is a good idea !
@schmavery: Thank you :) We definitely wanted to add more difficulty for the first part but we were running out of time :(
The effects when you take the Weed more remind me of Lsd than Weed and was'nt i supposed to bring it home and not just consume it when i find it :D? Well who said he smoked it all right :D Liked the music change. Also a change int the feel of the mechanics from the point on you we're high would be nice. Make the controls feel druggy or something. Anywys nice looking Graphics. Good job! We also made a druggy platformer game. If you want to check it out feel free to do so on my game page :-)
Visuals work quite well, especially considering the theme of the game. At first I didn't notice the music because it was so quiet, but it fits the mood quite well. Overall, nice work and great interpretation of the theme!
Imo, the first jump after the weed was a bit too hard in comparison to the others, though. I died three times before making it and it was a bit dull just replaying everything before, which was fairly simple.d
I would have liked a bit more of the theme, I guess there were time restrictions for adding more levels to emphasise it.
I completed and updated my ratings. I love the short and simple level design, but some kind of progression would be nice indeed. Enjoyed it anyway!
The blinking graphics are nicely psychadelic, but everything would look a lot better and more cohesive - the blocky background buildings clash a lot with the detailed people and trashcans.
