About the game

The reactor of the Paradise spaceship broke mid-flight.

While the mechanic fixes the reactor you have to carefully manage the remaining power in order to keep the passengers alive and happy during the crisis.

Cut the power in the unused rooms, watch the people as they move from place to place, see them struggle to survive the harsh conditions (created by you , probably).

The people are fully simulated and can perform tasks like eating, sleeping , recovering from sickness and relaxing. Unless the rooms are sealed they can fully take care of themselves.

I like the simulation part of the game. But for some reason the people is walking outside of the ship. Here's a screenshot

It seems to be related with the window size. Check this other screenshot:

I enjoy the game, although I couldn't find a way to win it yet

Good work!

I like the ftl style graphics! I killed the crew off each time... space travel is rough :P Nice game!

@hhsaez Yeah , the simulation part was what made me finish the game, I really enjoyed making the IA for those little fellas.

Thanks for telling me about the bug, I think I know what the problem is. I should have tested the game in window mode but I was too tired. I'll definitely work on the game some more and fix this as well.

I love the concept! I managed to beat it, but only with one survivor :P

That was a neat management game! Couldn't avoid running out of energy in the first couple of tries but at the end even the passengers were angry finished the game with no death. It would be much better with some music playing in the background but not a huge deal for a compo game. Good job!

I like the idea, the explanation wasn't quite clear about how to give people what they need.
But after a few attempts I managed to get them home alive. I wasn't able to hear any audio, is there supposed to be some? If not you should opt out of the audio category.

Really enjoyed the game. The power management mechanic is really neat and the difficulty seems to be in a very nice spot; I managed to beat it after a few tries, but to beat it well (actually let the people get some fun) would require more tries, so it's not too easy.

I like it! One of the cool thing is that you can run out of power and still get trough with everyone alive: a very enjoyable dynamic.

Anyway I did't quite understand the difference between the 3 room on the front game room, map room(?)

A bit hard to learn at first, it could use a bit of explaining on the purposes of some of the rooms. But it is a very cool short strategy game and the conserving power mechanic is an interesting addition.

Not gonna lie, I found this game confusing, but it's a cool concept and I enjoyed playing.

It'd be nice if there were symbols on the stamina, hunger, and sickness that corresponded to the rooms that help those things, with meters (like in Sims) instead of numbers. It could also help to identify the people at a glance. I understand choices were made for the compo, just some stuff to consider if you haven't already:)

It was very confusing at first. I tried several times but I cannot managed to make them survive.

It's a good game, I think maybe with a little more time you will be able to polish some details, like a better tutorial, make clear what makes every room (I couldn't understand the difference between the 3 rooms at the right side of the ship) or putting some music and sound effects.

It is a good concept and I would like to try a finished version of this game :)
Good job!

The simulation is good, also the idea. The graphics are ok, and it could really use some sound effects and music. Good job!

Cool entry! Managed to save them on my 2nd try, but they were very angry. It seems you can get pretty far by only keeping the bedroom and kitchen powered and sometimes power the oxygen, food storage and play rooms. Really like that the tutorial hints kept changing at the bottom so you can learn as you play. Nice work!

Couldn't manage to save them all :worried: It would be better if they show their wishes above their heads. I don't quite understand what is the difference between billiard, gaming and huge map (?) rooms. If different characters has different tastes I'd like to know that.

And decreasing speed is too high for me
