Special Delivery by OnlySlightly

[raw]
made by OnlySlightly for LD35 (JAM)
This is a game created using TV footage from the 50s about a special delivery. All you have to do is press the arrow keys to play. Have fun!

I'm Matt, I did the coding, editing and designing. Brian Webb did the creepy music and some of the sound. The rave music in the post jam version is from Ben Sounds. Some sound effects came from Sound Bible.

After playing your entry, I'm 100% convinced you are totally insane - in the best possible way. That was the most creative/zany concept I've seen! Controlling the video clips is such a good idea and well done. I want more! :) Does Kyle Lucian ever get his package? I must know!!!

Great job! If you are doing your stream this LD I'll see you there :)

Great aesthetic. There is a lot of potential gameplay for two buttons. I'd love to see the package shapeshift further.

itch.io is so incredibly sloooow. It takes almost an hour here to download the 100 MB version :-(.
And you don't have to distribute the .pdb files. These are just debugging symbols.
As to the game: Okaaaaay.... That was weird! But fun! :-)
Love the style btw.

This is absolutely bananas. I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't this. Hilarious, bizzare, and the strangest thing I've ever seen come out of LD. Great job :D

Wow, I've never played anything quite like this. It was utterly fascinating and delightful throughout.

I'd love to play a longer game like this. Nice work!

So awesome. Love the way this looks and the way it sounds. 100$ on feely-juiciness, etc.

I really liked the use of using the old footage, and the control in the occasional clips is really good.

I'd love to see more of this! It's just a shame it ended so quickly
