I really like this, the typing sound is awesome! I was actually about to do something similar for this compo

Great feel to the typing; would be nice if the current speed was 'run' and a slower speed for 'walk' to give a little more reaction time (though maybe I'm just too sloppy at fast typing)!

man this game is really good ! But it's too hard !Maybe you can startup with a slower speed and slowly raise it.

Since I bad at typing and platforming, this game is really challenging. First jump was super hard, then it's downhill for me. But mechanics itself are quite unique.

Bugfix which should enable macOS users to start the game. Also, balancing cause the game was too hard.

Really fun and challenging game, also found a bug, when you are at "You Win" screen, you can keep spamming enter to collect virtually infinite points from the last correct word you input

GG, definitely an awkward combo but you make it work.

I really dig this game, probably one of my favorites so far. I think the colors you've chosen fit the typing theme perfectly and the graphics aren't overdone, I love the sound of the typing too! As the game currently stands the difficulty curve feels good and the game itself is really satisfying to play. You definitely picked two incompatible genres but you kept the aspects taken from each of them quite simple and I feel like that's why it works so well. Great job! :)

Impossible to launch the "macos" version - but i can launch it in unity.

Great game, hard, but great.

Maybe "run" is better than "walk" :-)

Great game. I found it more enjoyable than most other endless runner/platformers out there ^^

Jump is a little bit tedious to type though.

I've seen a couple of typing platformers so far but this one is definitely my favorite. The extra typing challenges at the exclamation marks is what really makes this an actual game rather than a "two incompatible genres" game. And I don't mean that the game doesn't fit LD's theme, I mean that you've actually combined the two genres & made them compatible. :)

Can confirm that the Linux version works fine.

Love the typing sounds, they're super satisfying!

I've seen this mix of genres a few times so far during the jam, but this is probably the best implementation of them that I've seen. Great work!

The best thing about this game is that you came up with an idea that you could execute basically 100% in the time allowed. Everything fits together perfectly - the graphics, game-play, and audio. Great job!

Great game, except I don't really see the point in the "walk" command as you only use it once.
The graphics are great too!

Simple concept, great execution.

Though it could use some fleshing out (i.e. "JUMP" being tedious to type fast since it's all on the right side of the keyboard, "LEAP" would've been less awkward), the art style is simple yet charming and the gameplay is generally a lot of fun. I personally don't like the choice of background music though, but the sound effects are very good and satisfying.

Pretty, stylish, and too difficult.
I like the idea, although it is not new and the feel of the finished and polished product.
And finally, have my respect for being COMPO!

Fun to play and great presentation! I just wish it went on longer, it ended so quickly. I think there's potential for more mechanics too; it's fun to see the obstacle, type in the word as fast as you can, and then properly time when you press enter.

Really fun game, and interesting.
Perhaps lose two lives for one missing action ( like failed to stop at the end of a level) is a little bit tough for a 3 lives games.
Nevertheless, a big GG.

I really enjoyed playing this game!
Everything is well polished, from graphics to sound (it has been said already but the typing sound is really great).

Pretty well balanced to make a difficult game for non fast typing persons.

I enjoyed!

Today I learned that `JUMP` is a difficult word to type.

This game is fantastic. Lots of polish, a consistent artstyle with a very well-designed UI, and most importantly a very compelling set of mechanics. I like the screenshake when you mistype a word, I like the keyboard sound effects, and I think the boss at the end of each level is a great idea.

As far as complaints go, I might have liked jumps to be a little easier to make; typing the word is hard enough, timing when to hit 'enter' is a frustrating challenge. The game seems to lack the little bit of invisible platform that most platformers provide (so you can jump after you've run off the physical edge), and it's additionally frustrating to be stopped in the middle of the fall and asked to type another word before you fall to your death. The music's fairly repetitive, and there doesn't seem to be a way to mute it (a 'mute' command would have done nicely :P)

Initially I was a little confused as to why there were `WALK` and `STOP` commands. This seemed to remove some of the quick reactions that a runner like this usually requires. But I was quickly convinced that stopping didn't actually give me more time to type, and it proved particularly useful when I needed to pause the game.

I consider this one of the best games I've played this LD. I look forward to seeing what you do next Compo. Thanks for the entry!
