Speechless.
First i just loved the setting and the gfx, didn't know what to do, pressed space in the middle of the room, nothing happened, evaded the black as long as possible, then i read the description and pressed space near the wall and ...

Haunting is the only word i can find for the experience of seeing me (the player) slamming my (his) head against the wall trying to stay sane...

I can't say i have been exactly there and done exactly that, but it does definately resonate with me...

A very moving experience, great concept, beautifully implemented, a gem of a game.

Woah, this game was a surprise. I was actually kinda freaked out with the sound design with this. The atmosphere was intense and I actually felt a little scared. Hats off to you man, there may not be much gameplay but this game definitely made an impact unlike any other game here

Very clever game. Most out of the box thinking and unique game so far for me. Everything gels together nicely with the art and music and creates amazing ambiance. The mechanics were unique and creepy in a cool way. My only one gripe, I don't know if it was supposed to be a hissing noise but it just sounded like slurping which took me out of the zone a little bit. But by far one of the more creative games. Amazing work.

This was an excellent entry! Really loved the sinister feeling created by the art and sound. It makes a really simple mechanic shine through and gives you a sense of dread as you're playing. It was almost more fun to see the cool blank spaces eat my dude - brilliant special effect on that!

Loved this one - great job!

"huh, i'm trying to not go crazy" but the sound of yourself, tryharding space to keep sanity start to make you crazy, and it fits perfectly to gain more "mood" wuw, awesome

10/10 would smash my head again

Really touching mood. The graphics, sound and the idea are amazing. The screenshake when you bang your head against the wall works excellent to transfer the mood of the game. I did enjoy your second last game already and i think you can implement a dark mood very well. I like the combination of 2D with the 3D space, like in octopath traveler. You did a great job there!

The concept and execution of this were crazy (in a very good way). I'm surprised this doesn't have more ratings!

Stayed sane for 84 seconds and proud of it. Really well done mate, usually idk what else to say when I run into an entry this good. Awesome interpretation of the theme as well.

Wow I loved the mood of your game.. Graphics and sounds are amazing, really touching theme.
The only thing that disturbs me is that the curve of difficulty is rising instantly and hitting the head to the wall is not helping. Maybe make the movements of the player a bit faster ?
Anyway, really nice job !
PS: The scene is in 3D isn't it ? I loved the refelexion of the player in the floor tiles

Very well executed! Loved every element of the presentation and the concept itself. Gameplay-wsie, it felt weird that I could only use the side walls, though I understand why visually. Impressive entry nonetheless!

Interesting, sometimes other games make me *want* to hit my head against the wall, but in this one I *have* to. 🤔 I managed 149 seconds.

A fun idea executed with great audio and atmosphere. It lacks a little in gameplay, and it's not a kind of game I would want to revisit, but I quite appreciate it within the confines of a gamejam entry.

I feel the font and UI don't really suit the rest of the game, and the tiling underneath the window is misaligned, but other than that I like the graphics. Normally I would harp on about non-uniform styles regarding the different style for the player and the environment, but somehow this works. Nice shadow and reflection effects.

Nice work!

Really stylish and well-made! The graphics and sounds were great, setting up an according mood for the game's setting. I think I can't say it was "fun" exactly due to the topics this game handles, but not in a bad way at all - I've always considered it wrong to judge games based on their fun-factor only, since games as an art form have long overgrown that shallow and binary approach. I do consider the experience really interesting and valuable though, which's what matters imo. Looking forward to your future games, crafting such an atmosphere in just three days is amazing!
