Rolling Soccer by palsina

[raw]
made by palsina for LD 41 (JAM)

In Rolling Soccer you have to roll the ball collecting objects before heading to the goal, the bigger you make the ball the more points you'll score. A mix of Katamari and well, soccer. You can play alone or against a friend!

I really like this idea! The tackle hitbox is kinda tough to hit, but the feel of the ball is pretty good and I think the rate and size of things in the field is great as well.

overall i enjoyed this but there seemed to be some collision problems with the ball.
Also music/sound was lacking (in the web version). I think it was a cool funny game though.

Dude - this was brilliant. Such a fantastic concept - full 5 there. There's a lot of polish that could happen - but for 48 hours I can't complain about it. This is a game that would feel great on mobile, and I really think you should pursue it. Was impressed with the graphics as well.

Good concept, quite difficult to tackle the ai though!

Awesome concept, super wacky!

The two core mechanics blend amazingly well, and it feels pretty solid already.

As for controls, I didn't have many issues trying to slide on the AI, but trying to guide the ball was a bit hard. I somehow ended up scoring on my own goal a couple of times -just when I'd managed to stick a large amount of items :sob:

With a bit more polish (and sounds!), this has a lot of potential as a multiplayer game in the vein of Overcooked or Rocket League (I tried it on single player and enjoyed it a lot, but I can easily imagine the potential this could have by playing with friends).

Congrats!! :D:D

Very clever idea, especially the scoring. Everything works well enough together. I could imagine a Japanese studio actually making something like this. Good stuff :8ball:

It's a really solid game. The ball control is a bit wonky but you can get used to it. I really hope you have plans for pursuing this further and making a full release someday.

Fun game. I wish the slide tackling/contacting of the other player seemed a little more responsive, but overall very well done, great job. :)

Zany and fun, I laugh at the idea of football hooligans just like throwing just cars onto the field.

A fun game. Excellent invented with gluing objects to the ball. I liked the stylized graphics and the people in the stands. While it's easy to play with a computer, it would be great to have different levels of difficule
