Heart Of Stone Logo.jpg Heart Of Stone

Heart Of Stone is a tower defense game.

Astroids attack the Heart of the World. Defend it as hard as you can.

How to play? A tutorial is inside.

This game was made with: - Unity - Photoshop - Audacity - Cinema 4D - Blender - Illustrator

I hadn't time to test it, improve code & performance.

Btw the first time of loading the game scene will take a while, so don't worry! (I hadn't enough time to include a loading screen )

Made a version 2 with a loading indicator so you should now see if the game is loading or not. As i said before it might take a while to load the game level. I did some balancing so i let the original version online.

The game is too easy :D, with good balancing, i think this would be more fun!

I got stuck at the main menu. None of the buttons worked, except the quit button, which is exactly what I did. Super disappointed because the menu background panning animation made me really interested in playing it.

I've tried launching and playing the game, but neither Tutorial nor New Game does anything in the menu.

A cool aesthetic, but the game was too easy and kind of slow at first. Nice take on a tower defense though!

I found this really fun. The heartbeat sound in the background is cool as well. I just ended up making a ton of jupiters which took down most of the waves in seconds so there might need to be some balancing done :p

Got totally swamped on round 9! Fun though! I just wish I was able to send out more units, never got close to placing a 100-cost unit :P

Like the art! I felt like earth was much too under-powered to be of much use. The fifty gold unit seemed like the best buy overall.

The game is pretty and the sounds are great. The idea is okay, but I would have liked a bit more to do, and the game is a bit to easy. But overall a fun LD game. Well done.

I like the art and the environment espacially, and the RTS camera allows the player to enjoy the assets from up close. This is an idea I had for our game but had to cut in the end.
I feel like the balance could be improved by playtesting and tweaking the parameters a little bit more, but maybe the difficulty is too hard to tune due to the defends AI moving differently between playthroughs ? Anyway I enjoyed playing for a few minutes ! Well done

So I've tried again today and it worked properly. The game looks really good and plays well, good job on that part.

Unit balancing doesn't seem to be correct for me (best buy us for 50, and 25 one seems pretty useless to me). Anyways I did enjoy the game quite a lot.

Keep up the good work.

Awesome game, it took some time to work (the buttons on the main menu wasn't working, but it worked after I waited some time)
Amazing graphics and sound
Good job!

Nice entry, the graphics are beautifull. But I didn't maged to get too far. Things are too expensive to buy and the asteroids give low income. Needs some unit balance, but overall a great game.

Wonderful graphics, good mechanics (although the units are a bit unbalanced in favor of the ranged ones). The main issue for me is that it has basically nothing to do with the theme..unless you consider the fact that if you have more enemies it's bad..but it's a bit of a trivial interpretation, and it doesn't really add something to the classic tower defense genre. Don't get me wrong, the game is really well made and especially beautiful, i liked it very much. I just expected to see the theme a bit more.

If this game had better balancing(You can pretty much place 5 white planets on one lane, then buy all money upgrades and from then on only place more white planets on that lane to win) it would be amazing! I think I spent a good half an hour playing it! I just don't understand how it fits the theme though. You can stack everything full of towers without any negative consequences.

i tried to play hearts of stone v1 and the main menu didnt work for some reason, the buttons didnt do anything

in the v2 i had the same problem but when clicked on the buttons it greyed out the buttons and simply said is loading... so i left it for half an hour but nothing changed(i dont have the best laptop but it shouldve ran it)

from the screenshots it looks really cool but since i couldnt play it i sadly cant judge it.

hey, thanks for making the game! I saw a couple of tdg but your's faster und enjoyable. I would like to have a little zoom in and out with the mousewheel though. The difficulty curve increases bit to fast. nonetheless great entry!
