Not nit-picking, but you have a typo in the intro ("Impressing" vs "Impressive"). Just figured you'd like to know.

Boy, am I happy to actually find a platformer even I can play, lol. That said, I think the police chase timer is a little too lenient and I never felt I was in danger of being caught.

Controls felt great. I liked the character designs as well. It was a pleasant change to see pixel-art characters this large for a change. They have a lot of personality.

I actually lost it several times during the ending. Love the #RobBob gimmick. I may just use that my next game to figure out exactly who I should be spending my feedback time on next LD.

Edit: I just realized that there was supposed to be music. I didn't hear any.

So #RobBob was fantastic. Gonna guess that you're francais from the superpowers engine site, so bien fait. J'ecrivez plus si mon francais etait plus bon, et si j'ai sait certainment que tu est francais. Anyway...

I'm impressed with the scope of this project. There are a few big points I wanted to comment on, and those are scope, graphics, and story.

The scope is huge to incorporate multiple modes of gameplay, dialogue, cut-scenes, maps, etc. It makes the game feel very alive and fluid. You're not stuck staring at the same thing forever.

The graphics are simple and clean. The pixel art is funny and I also liked the little walking animations.

The story I think was my favorite part. From the funny dialogue to the tragedy that befell our beloved burglar, to the bittersweet conclusion. BTW the tree / developer not having enough time was sort of a meta incorporation of the theme.

There were other factors I didn't touch here but really overall well done. Very inspiring, and motivating as to what you can do in such little time. Again, well done.

Really liked the shift from "infinite runner" to platformer. Artwork is very nice, and the music is great too. Not to mention, bonus points for having a WebGL platform available for those of us who are a little paranoid of running executables :D

two thumbs up from me, great entry!

This is definitely a more complete game than any of the other ones I have played so far (including mine).

Just three things: The sound was not working, which I suspect was not intended. Then there were some grammar mistakes, but that was not that bad. And the levels got kind of repetitive, as there were so few different kinds. But the speed change made it more interesting and of course you did not have that much time to make more levels.

Very good game, all in all!

That was cure enough. There are very few platformer sections, but who am I to judge about gameplay variety? #RobBob

Really enjoyed the first part, but was rather disappointed, that the levels weren't changing just the time you had available was. Overall, really liked the game, the music and art are very nice as well. Great job!

Solid gameplay, presentation and good take on theme. It amazed me how well executed the whole thing was and how much content you managed to fit into a compo entry. Although I am already a bit bored of pixel art it worked really well here.

Real simple and fast game paced game play made me a feel a sense of urgency, although it was only indirectly related to the theme. I had fun playing it nonetheless, great game!

#Robbob was good. I really like the art and music. The game was very cute and funny. It did get kind of boring to do the levels after a while since they were the same 5 levels over and over again. I did enjoy it though.

I liked the low-fi sound effects and graphics: simple and fun.
The theme, though ... is a little bit of a stretch :-)
The controls for the platformer sections feel good and responsive, nice job!

The game mechanics themselves are ideal. Unfortunately, the platforming sections were a little repetitive and a bit too easy. Overall, good job.

Nice game. It feels a bit repetitive when we have to gather the $700 dollars but is pretty fun anyway. Well done!

I enjoyed playing this game, even if the police have 0 Chance of catch you ;)

Good job!

Hah! Really enjoyed #RobBob. Platformer felt just about perfect. Wish there was a little more variety of levels, but with the time crunch I think that time was well spent on all the other things. Art is great, sounds are good, and the story funny. Very polished. Enjoyed it a lot.

I've definitely done things like #RobBob before to make sure people read certain things(usually instructions).

Anyway, I like the idea of the game and the art looks nice. It could use a new palette though. The game got pretty repetitive considering there were only 3 rooms. I liked the twist at the ending and you used the theme in a pretty creative way! :D

Also, if you made the physics for this game, you might want to consider working on it a bit. The physics got pretty glitchy sometimes.

Anyway, good job!

That was cute. But can the police ever catch you while you're running?. Good job anyways.

Hmmm...I was not able to play the web version because I could not move to the left and the button layout was awkward especially for jumping. However, I thought the story was unique and funny, the graphics are very well done, the music and sound add a good vibe, and all of this for a compo? Well done!

The game is quite simply made, but I really appreciate that you've spend time to make a proper intro cutscene!

The "minimap" at the bottom was a bit confusing, it was hard to figure out why the cops kept going back and forth, or why I was stuck on the end but not "finishing" the race
