No Touch by aeveis

made by aeveis for LD36 (JAM)
A short game about trying to find out what the cat wants. The initial thoughts were to collect parts to reform an ancient technology, but I like this better. There is a calculator though.

Tools used:
IDE: Flash Develop
Library: Haxeflixel
Art: Gimp
Tile Editor: Tiled
Sound/Music: OpenMPT

Controls:
Arrow Keys to move and Space to jump

So freakin cute!
Animation is very smooth, music is very fitting and well done. Overall the ascetics are very consistent and professional.

Game play wise, it just felt like a simple fetching mission.

I never got to touch the cat, even at the end. But, the game was super cute

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

Pretty fun for as simple as it is. Art and music are cute.
Really like how the camera moves when you fall, having the camera adapt to your character’s movement was a nice touch.
Only complaint would be I don’t really see how it matches the theme, but oh well.

The story is so cute and funny.
You were right, I even forget about any ancient technologies trying to find out what the cat wants.
Well done!

Initially I was a bit skeptical because I didn't really see any mechanical difference between selecting different items. Item uniformity definitely increased the impact of the ending, which I enjoyed =P, but I wonder if it's possible to give a little more direction while still supporting the ending. Good work!
