Really cool atheistic and fun platformer! The particle effects and screenshanke were awesome as-well

This game looks and sounds really nice! I especially love the animation that plays when the plug attaches to your head, and the sound effect is really satisfying. I noticed that the jumping mechanic can be abused with good timing. It seems that I can jump in open space without platforms if I time my jumps well. Overall a really good game!

I like the style of this game. The audio is also very good. The game itself I found difficult. Very hard to see where you are jumping.

I loved the graphics and mood of this. Also liked that it took a few tries to get through some of the glass things, not too easy, not too hard. Only key thing that I'd say it's missing would be some kind of walk/run animation on the player.

@jaxson-van-doorn Thank you, glad you like the aesthetic!
@star-garden Bahhh thanks, I really appreciate that! As for the jumping, oh no! At least it is very hard to time so props to anyone who can tap into this advanced technique ;). I could only recreate the bug in a specific scenario. Passed the deadline so can't fix, but thank you for playing and I hope you got to see the end :)

I really like the vibes this game gave me at first. The scenery looks cool, the fill-up animation is well done and the ambient sound is top-notch. Made me feel a bit like playing hyperlight drifter for the first time.

The jumping side is hard, but works ok after getting used to.

@attala Glad you liked the style! Yeah if I were to work on this post-Compo I'd add better camera controls, thanks for the suggestion :)

@zubspace thanks for the feedback about the vibes :)

@tkap glad you dug the mood and difficulty! If only you could see my to-do list that was the next thing on my list ha!

This game gave flashbacks to playing on my Sinclair Spectrum as a kid! I like the art and mono-colour style, the music was nice, the controls satisfying. I would play more of this.

This game is really abstract. Ambient creates strange atmosphere, I like it.
I got stuck in one place till I realized that can also jump diagonally and actually managed to complete it :) (ending is quite distressful ... What happened to this guy??)

Amazing music, very nice pixel art. UI size changes for different resolutions. To change that add a Canvas scaler component to your Canvas and set it "to Scale With Screen Size". Overall a great game!

Great work, very good atmosphere.
But I bought all the stuff and I don't what to do after (I always die).

Amazing atmosphere! It's almost symbolic in how it captures materialism. The animation of that droid sucking out your lifeforce was by far the coolest part of your game. So satisfying to watch, yet creepy at the same time! Nice work here.

@rancoud Thank you for the feedback, so glad you dug the atmosphere! **SPOILERS** -- that's the ending -- you buy a bunch of stuff and then you die (sorry for the bummer ending)

@adam-clayden - YES! Nail on the head, thank you for playing and for the nice compliments!

@tasakasama it was a pleasure that you even played a game I made in 48 hours! Thank you!

@maniae Thank you! Glad you liked using the controller, so much easier that way for the angles

@dvlv Thank you for playing, glad you liked it!

@martynas Thank you for playing! Bahh, thanks about the music compliments. When working on the SFX I was thinking "I hope this pays off"

@dmdmdmdm Thank you for playing and appreciating the mood!

@xcvzxc Thank you for playing! glad you liked the abstract nature of the game and whoops about the distressing ending :grimacing: I guess the ending for it is the same for all of us

Great great use of the theme here, it's a mechanic of the gameplay AND central to the story. The game really makes a statement, proof that games should be considered art!

Nice game! I wish there was more to it than just jumping and buying things. Also those jumps were super frustrating. Nice work!

A super interesting game with some amazing music and graphics. The best part of the game is the survival atmosphere. The keyboard controls is really bad, but I know they was not recommend, but I do not have a Xbox controller. Overall a good LD game. Well done.

Great graphics and music, love the mood too. The gameplay was a bit simplistic, the life sucking think felt more like energy than life, since there are no enemies or other things that deplete your life. Anyways, really solid entry good work!

First off, congratz on your first LD :)
I loved your artwork and the whole mood you set up with the song and musical hints.
I think I wished for a little more of real goal, I guess. But still a interesting game :)
