Corrupted Corners by Likirus

[raw]
made by Likirus for LD 42 (COMPO)

You find yourself on a field surrounded by strange spores which appear to be corrupting the lands. Build sunflower farms to produce the valuable sunflower currency which you can spend to build beacons that can protect a small area around them from the corruption. Or you may want to invest into arrow towers, because I have a feeling that once the corruption has spread a bit there may be other dangers creeping out of it... SURVIVE...

Comments

The initial corruption seeds, the spreading of the corruption, the creation of spawners are all random, therefore the experience and difficulty may vary from game to game. I's not possible to win ( I don't think so ), at some point the monsters and the corruption will overrun you, so just try to survive as long as possible, there is a score in the gameover screen. Also depending on your system, the game may slow down late game, js/html5 isn't that optimized I noticed, try to turn off the damage texts. Have fun :)

it's an interesting small little game, i personally like it altho you could have put more stuff in it to make it more fun but you had that time restraint so i understand, for what it is is a great game, it's only that it gets tedious after you've built your base

Fun little game. The concept is very nice, and the art is very pleasant to the eye. There are some minor bugs (e.g. sometimes I could not build on empty squares, and some squares stayed protected after the beacons were destroyed), but it's still playable and enjoyable.

I saw Delphi games, Rust games. And I continue to discover more surprizes - now its HTML/JS. Good job!
