I’m not sure if you were able to see it, but I played your game on my stream at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames tonight.

I had a lot of trouble trying to figure out what I was supposed to do. I knew I was supposed to feed the critic, but couldn't tell what the things were at first. This might have been helped somewhat by zooming the camera in, and then pulling it back as the player charged up a shot. Also a golf game style power meter might have made it more clear that holding the button gives it more power. Most of all, keep at it and make sure to bring in people who aren't developing it for testing.

It was a little difficult to get the items onto the plate, but overall it's a good idea and good execution. The art was good, the music and sounds were charming, but the controls were a little finicky. Often my aimer would "snap back" into a non-ideal position. That being said, it was definitely a good job! Scorched Earth was one of my faves back in the day, so it's nice to see an homage!
