A really cool use of the theme. Fun game, but kind of held back by the mouse sensitivity being too high for my taste. Audio was pretty good too.

Thank you so much @michael-clavell ! I noticed that too - I'm starting to think that some browsers may treat the mouse sensitivity differently than it was in our local builds, but that's really helpful feedback!

What a great game! Love card games so this one was right up my alley. Great DOOM inspired graphics and fantasy elements, good work Troll Games!

Exceptional visual and sound design! Enemy anims were tight, and despite taking a minute to get myself up to speed, I was blasting those fools in no time!

Solid :)

I didn't even read the description and I knew I would like this game.
It's amazing. Perfectly made.

This game is great! I love Wolfenstein-esque games and the card mechanic worked really well with it. The controls feel a bit wonky but it overall doesn't hinder gameplay.

This game deserved to have a "full-size" version , and have only used 72h to make all this? That's very awesome.

LOVED the rocket launcher slow motion so much. And the whole game is great, good job!

Cool game, with graphics very similar to Doom, but mouse sensitivity is to high, which is some times little disorienting.

This game is fantastic. I love the graphics and the music and I think the idea is innovative and beyond well-executed. It really feels like a professional finished product.

Wooooow, I like a lot these retro-shooters, and the idea of the weapon cards is simply awesome. I don't know if it's a bug or something but the pistol is useless. Also the collision of the enemies is a bit weird. However it's a very good original game :)

This felt extremely polished! The controls and graphics were clean, and the mechanics were very well implemented! I love the "Wolfenstein/Doom"-esque look this game has! Very good!

This is really fun! Great graphics, smooth gameplay, and music. I liked the deck building aspect too. :)
A bug I found is while collecting cards from the box, 2 of them became permanently stuck onscreen in the middle, besides that.. also mouse sensitivity was insanely high, anyways.. awesome entry!

@oldshrimpeyes Thank you so much! I had little time this weekend to work on the audio so that means a lot!

There's very few things more satisfying in this entire jam than just dumping your entire hand into a room and laying waste with rockets and buckshot everywhere.

This is fantastic! Collisions felt a little wonky at times but it's a great idea that was executed nearly perfectly.

This is amazing. I really like the doom style gameplay, the 8 bit dungeon feel and the card game aspect. It runs really smoothly and is fun to play!

Well, I'd never thought card based shooter could be that fun! Really liked the shuffling mechanics and looting new weapons!
P.S. whoever came up with that mimics room idea... say hello to em from me.

This game is awesome! I would really like to see it being further developed. The only issue I had was the high sensitivity when aiming ^^

This game has pretty much everything I like - it's a raycast era shooter, bullet hell, card games... only thing is I don't really like deckbuilding games that much, but this is an exception. There's many good games it reminds me of: Max Payne, Hotline Miami, Superhot, a bit of Megaten comes to mind for some reason...

You all killed it, only issue I had was the bugged sensitivity in full screen but it's perfectly fine windowed. Great job!

Audio and Graphics were well done. The theme was also definitly nailed. Though i am not sure if it blends well together. I found myself just shooting al the time without really paying attention to the cards, because you don't have time for it. a turn based or semi turn based approach could maybe help?

I love the idea and your decision to go for an old school fps style. The graphics and audio was very well done, albeit it a little too much on the cute side, which for me personally collided with the rather dark writing. Gameplay itself felt quick, intuitive and awesome and I loved the half opening door idea, which allowed to peak into later rooms. I would've needed some way to evaluate my deck in order to make meaningful deckbuilding decisions, but that might just be your "hard to master" part. Overall I liked it a lot!

Wow, great game, really fits the theme, I like how you implemented all the things to support core gameplay(like curses and shredders), artstyle is good. Very solid entry and you managed to implement quite many cards, with upgrades too. Really like it.

cool game, enjoyed the retro FPS styling, and the soundtrack was nice too. Frankly i didn't much get into the card side of it I just wanted keep blasting stuff with whatever weapon was on hand. I didn't make it past the 2nd level though so maybe wasn't the best strategy. Oh well I had fun dying.

* Spinning heart for health is a nice touch
* Controls are pretty straightforward, although I kept pressing the wrong button between E and Q
* The mimics scare the heck out of me every time
* I think a bit more information about the deck would be nice: how many cards? What's in the deck at the moment? should I shred this card? Where are the health pack cards hiding?!
* Sometimes the enemies phase through walls, which is a bit immersion-breaking :slight_frown:
* I loved the variation in floor and wall panels, very glad it's not all the same texture
* I love how the "Shred?" text gets shredded.
* there's a sightline in the last level through a couple of partially open doors through which I could see the exit; very helpful for keeping my orientation!
* Music was very good, crunchy vibes fit the art and didn't get annoying on repetition.
* I beat the game with one health left, so the difficulty must've been right for me

Thanks for making this game!

@MarkoPoloDev I tried to break up the form of the music so that the loop didn't get annoying. I am so excited to see your comment about that! I didn't have time to make more than 3 minutes of music, so I had to try to get that right. Thanks for including that bit. Made my day!
