Combines survival game and city building game. You have to build a city inside of a person. ThingsInMeExample.png

Controls

WSAD for movement of character. Hold right mouse button and move mouse to move around 'person city' view. The mouse wheel zooms. Use left mouse button to place items.

Instructions

(To build items, click on the 3 buttons at the top right, the ones that say Residential Processing, Industrial). The goal is to build a spaceship in the head of the person, this will allow the small creatures living in him to escape. To do this you have to knock over any bins you see, once you have done this, you can eat any items that fall out of the bin. By eating the items you allow the creatures living inside the person to use them.

Items To Build

There are 3 resources you can collect, stone, wood, and food. All of these Items can be found by knocking over bins. 1. Industrial factory, build this to create technology (200 technology wins the game). 2. Processing factory, build this to process the things the person eats. 3. Residential houses, after you build one of these, some small creatures or people will be generated after a short time (30 seconds)

Other Things To Know

Building these items takes resources, I think its like 3 wood for a residential unit, and different amounts for other things. The other people where the person lives don't like him knocking over their bins, so they will try to hit him with a bat, avoid this, as getting damaged reduces you population. If your population drops to 0, it's game over.

I like how you mixed both genres together.
Gameplay in the 3d world is a bit buggy and it took me a bit to understand that you have to get things that fall and people could attack you. They wasn't a danger though.
I like the game, if expanded it could be a very interesting game. Good job!

I'm not sure if it is a bug or something, but I literally won the game by not moving at all, and just placing factories until the tech reached 200, and I didn't really get the rocket. Like why it was there? What was its purpose? I would have loved to get some backstory. And it was a bit wierd to not know how much each building cost.

Overall, not sure if I fully got this game. It was a good idea, that would have had a good chance to be something great. Audio & graphics were good. But my guess is that you spent too much time on those, and really didn't have time to playtest & make gameplay good. But that is just my guess.

Wow you managed to make complex mechanics to your compo game! I found it a little hard first to grasp what was my goal but eventually i was robbing everyones garbage and building massive cities haha. Im not sure if I fully grasped the goal eventually but overall execution of the project was good and bug free! Nice job abdonatioera!
