Looks neat! Any chance of a Linux port?

What do you mean by controls not working? You may have to enter buildmode. Just curious for possible bugfixing. (also, there will be no Linux port. (sorry :( ))

This is really nicely done for a game jam game! This is one of the first games I've played that actually mashes together two contrasting genres. You want to spend a lot of time building the perfect vehicle, but then you get completely overwhelmed by the oncoming red wall. You really have to think fast when playing this game! Editing your vehicle on the fly is a really cool idea. You should develop this further!

If you're looking for bugs to fix, then one that I came across is that the vehicle gets scrambled when you enter build mode on a not-so-flat surface. Oh, and if you want to get people to reply to your comments then make sure to tag them like this @Untitled-Studios :)

This is a really cool game! I managed to score just over 13,000 after playing for a little while and enjoyed doing so. I encountered two bugs, the first has already been mentioned (vehicle parts moving around), the second is that if the red wall passes over you while you're still in build mode your score won't show up until you exit build mode.

Good work! :)

Thanks for letting me know about the bugs! But you'll never beat my score (~30,000) heheheheh @aaron9

Hi @untitled-studios! Unfortunately I had the same issue as the first commenter here, none of my controls are working. However it looks like a really cool concept and I'll check back soon to see if it works for me. Cheers!

I'm trying to pin down exactly what the problem is. Did you enter build mode with shift? @caterein @KRP

This was neat! I liked that you capped the fuel for the rockets, even though I basically only used rockets anyway. I think I would've liked for the game to wait until you've finished building the first time around to start the red wall of death, but aside from that and the occasional forgivable bug I think this is a solid entry. The genres you chose to combine worked pretty darn well together, too, so bonus! Good work all around!

Solid Game! After playing for a while, I got a wide range of scores, from ~-4000 to ~64000. Great job!

Had a lot fun, but adding a tutorial would make it even better!

A tutorial with a list of blocks would really improve this game. Also maybe some obstacles targeted at specific blocks, like walls you need to jump over, later in the level. Nice fun game though!

I love this entry.

It's far from polished - it's lacking music, there's no tutorial, the game doesn't pause in build mode and half the time it won't even let you enter build mode ("must be on flat ground"). So there's definitely a lot of room for improvement.

But it does the actual vehicle building really well. there are a lot of block options (most of which I didn't understand), and multiple methods of moving the vehicle around. It's missing an option to rotate the blocks (I'd like to have wheels facing sideways!) but there is still a lot of freedom in how you design and control your vehicle.

And at the end of the day, one really good mechanic can make even a buggy and unpolished game really fun to play.

I tend to be awful at these types of games, so my best design was a thruster on the bottom and left of the vehicle which I could use to steer myself above the map. My final score was 44216.

Great work.
