Hey, I tried playing your game through HTML5 and am getting the following error - http://prntscr.com/j8skbs

I downloaded the game, and it was quite fun! Great job :).

Quite a fun little game, it could be a great party game with multiplayer that's actually in the game contrary to my original comment :D The game's theme song is quite nice, why don't you play it during gameplay tho? It would be ideal, like a gentlemen's boxing match, but with pogosticks!

@Serious07 Thank you!

@Bryan Coen Thank you as well!

@SniperA When you get that error, you need to disable adblock. Thanks for playing, though!

@Moczan Thank you! I felt that having the music during the gameplay was a bit overwhelming, and it didn't fit the style of the game, but maybe you're right.

@JCMonkey Thanks! Yeah, physics-based movement doesn't really work.

@Poroh Thank you so much!

Simple yet brilliant game, me and my gf played against each other and had a blast! Bonus point for Godot, always love to see good Godot games. Bravo.

SO MUCH DRIFT! But incredibly fun and simple. Would probably be great to play with friends...if I had friends *sob *

@Blinkenlights Physics-based movement isn't great, I agree. I feel you on the friends thing. Nothing like beta-testing against myself.

The movement was a bit too floaty for me, it felt like I didn't have that much control. But other than that this was a fun game. A really simple concept that works well. Great job!

It looks and sounds great! That opening music made me hoping for more in the maps, but I didn't hear anything bust the bouncing there. Oh well. I don't really know what you were going for with the theme here, though.

I enjoyed the starting screen music - felt like a 1960's diner lol. This game gave me such bad flashbacks to my early SSMB days - getting shoved off the edge I wanted to yell at the other person playing. Simple mechanics executed well. :thumbsup:

This game is really fun, even if it's also super frustrating. I died a whole bunch, but that's ok, because dying is part of the fun of it. I love how quick it is. You don't have you wait to come back, you just do. I really like this game!

Well I'm the undisputed king vs my wife. Her hand eye coordination isn't so good you see. Nice music too!

@wsKilljoy Truer words were never spoken. I used physics in my game, but I had to severely counteract it with formulas to get it smooth (an I feel it's still a little slow), but the feedback's been positive! Give it a spin if you feel like it: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/cruise-co

I haven't friend ... :( But the game seems to be really good ! It is pollished and seems to be challenging with these controls.

Nice game ! Keep coding :)

so... interesting game... with the AI.. all but level 1 you just "don't fall' an you win.

@Jason Kennedy There isn't any AI. It's meant to be local multiplayer, with one player controlling red with WASD and the other controlling blue with the arrows.

Terrific music - very nice job with this. The game was fun. I think it would have been more fun had I another person to play with, but I got the hang of jumping around and bonking folks. I think having the option for bouncy walls rather than transparent might be a cool addition. Graphics were simple but stylish, gameplay solid, although I think you might be retaining a keypress variable, because some levels I started out with my movement toggled on, and died instantly. Very good work overall. Nice job.

Can't comment on how well of a versus game it plays due to not having anyone to challenge.
The music is really nice though, and the controls are quite solid, if with a slightly low lateral friction.

On another note, the Linux version seems to segfault on exit, with a whole block of errors left filling the console.

@Ananace That's quite odd. I'm on Arch and have no problems. What distro are you using?

Me and a coworker had some fun with this. Some polish to the graphics would help to keep the interest up though and maybe some music for the levels too.

Really cute! Loved the music (and that you've shared the score). Game is simple but fun, and the graphics are effective enough.

I would agree with @Ananace that the low lateral friction felt weird -- being able to accelerate so much in mid-air is not very intuitive and makes it a little difficult to control in the small spaces of the levels. Great job otherwise!
