I love pixel art and I also love dungeons. The darkness gives a cool seasoning to the game. Congratulations!

I also made a game for this LDJAM. Come try it out!

Nice work :) The creepy dripping sound effect in the background and the low visibility really lended nicely to the dungeon mood

I really liked it, took me a few attempts to get into it. A tip for people having difficulties with the controls I can actually use the arrow keys, and that's easier for me when the attack is on the [z] key. I got pretty far in my last attempt, I went down about 8 levels, until I spawned stuck (I think a ladder spawn rigth on me preventing movement. But small issues like this are to be expected when you have so little time.

Great job!

Strange sound effects haha. Interesting idea. Somewhat fitting of the jam! I like the walking animation. Attack animatioun could use a little work.

Good solo entry!

I think a mini map and an heads up for the enemy to come, would be a huge increment for this game! Nice entry, good dungeon vibes!

@falak lol! it's not what it sounds like! I promise! I was looking for a baby grunt sfx, that's the closest clip I could find.

Nice game, but with an extraordinary death sfx haha  . The controls and the combat can be improved. I liked the random generation. It works very nice. I love the select from 3 items system at the end of the levels.
Art is very good, the animation can be improved.
I liked the atmosphere with the dripping sound as well. Nice work!

Very hard game, kept dying. The sound effect for death was quite... naughty :joy: WASD+Z is not very comfy, but arrows+Z works just great. Love that the dungeon is procedurally generated (or at least seems to be). The potion of speed is more downgrade than upgrade as with the default light radius it's easier to bump into enemies.

How do you strike downwards?

I like the ambient sound and the dungeon tiles. A bit too hard for my taste. The enemies are so fast and unpredictable to hit! But congratulation that you released something playable!

Nice game I like roaming around the dungeon and the game feel in general, one thing I have to say though is that I can't seem to kill the enemies that are higher or lower than me.
