Fun and original, with a nice mood to it. Could be expanded by adding other NPC types, like guys who just will not move, or one who pushes you back.

Music, graphics and feel are awesome! Do the levels actually change as you go ahead? Couldn't tell if it was harder or the same hehe. Really digging the vibe!

the rag doll physic feeling is so squirmy. I feel like I am in a transit train right now, inching to the exit. This Gave me a cool chuckle. I love what you are doing and fantastic music I would love to work along with you.

A really solid LD entry :) ! Well done ! I like the fact that pushing on the arrow keys, trying to push through the crowd really FEELS like pushing through a crowd in life... a mix of frustration and relief when you finally get through !
I also really like the simple cartoony art style, and the music, though repetitive, feels nice :) !

Love the music and the vibe. Very fun challenge, really sells the concept of the being stuck in a subway.
Only feedback is it isn't clear that the difficulty is ramping up, each level seems the same. It probably isn't but could be clearer.
Great work!

I loved the music and the mood of this game, and the title screen is awesome. I felt like I didn't really have any control and was just totally at the mercy of the physics engine though. I made it to stop 4 before not being able to complete it. Are the levels different? Or just the amount of time you have to complete it?

Nicely done. I liked the muted talking too. Like you would hear if you were listening to headphones in a crowded subway!

This game is very frustrating... but in a good way! 😄 I love the presentation! Although I do wish there was more variation between the levels, and I also think the game is a bit too easy. But this game absolutely nails the feeling and makes me actually tense! Great job making this game! 😊

I liked this game from the moment I clicked on it because of the art and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful art and animation. Unfortunately, the gameplay doesn't really work out. I became really frustrated because I literally couldn't move on my laptop. After a few tries, switched to my PC where it worked the way I assume it was intended. I feel like the game relied too much on faulty physics. Once I got it to work though, I enjoyed it. It's just too bad that it's so platform dependent.

Nice little game! I love the aesthetics and music is very fitting. Would be great with more special passengers, although it could go against the very idea and the mood of the game. :D Also, it's pretty random, sometimes I was able to make it to the door in 2/3 of time and sometimes I barely make it on the first level. Maybe it's just me not knowing what I'm doing or how to play though. :D

Great take on the theme! I fooled myself into thinking I was safe when I reached the first door with my progress bar less than half way filled. Then the opposite door opened and it closed before I can shove the other fat guys out of the way. As a fat guy, it felt like real life. Good times!

The music, sound, visuals and the overall mood of the game are amazing!
The gameplay gets repetitive after a while once you get the hang of it tho, missing a bit of variety in terms of the level design and maybe the people you push around.
Overall very solid and polished entry, I enjoyed it a lot!

I really enjoy the theme and style of this, you have really nailed down the "feeling" of a packed subway, I could feel myself pressing harder on my keys to try and move faster :) very effective. The style is really where it shines, with the small details like the window light, the great perspective view, and the contrast between the player and the others. Great work.

The gameplay itself is extremely simple, but was a great use of simple physics objects to create a thematic challenge! I would have liked to see a bit more directivity in the following "levels", maybe have some static ppl or objects etc.

All in all, a great entry!

14. Aug 2018 · 21:46 UTC
Really fits the theme well, and visually it looks great. Totally captures the feel of being on a crowded tube train. A little frustrating to play as I couldn't work out a reliable "strategy." I also couldn't necessarily tell what was changing between levels, is it just the time? Audio was enjoyable, and not overbearing. All in all, good polish for a Compo game!

The visual setup was great. Great Post Processing and little details like the swinging handles and stuff.. Love the sound design even more. It was just a great mood. But the fun was really lacking for me. It was always the same with just less time. But other than that.. Great Entry.

Pretty much sums up the London Underground. Does get a little repetitive, but the audio is great - I love the guy announcing the stop - and the graphics are nice, especially with the bit of post-processing. Controls were easy to pick up, and they made sense.

Reminds me of taking the bus to college every day. Graphics look quite polished and the music fits the game greatly. However there seems to be only a single level that you play again and again (with slighly less time for every consecutive try) - and that is a bit boring. But overall nice gameplay and easy controls.

Great concept and execution, it's quite unique. Visuals and sound are spot on, no complaints here. I would've like seeing some variety in level design, I think there are some nice possibilities here.

Other than that, the game is absolutely relatable haha, you are scoring high on fun and mood :D

I think everyone can relate to this game if you do any commuting, if only the dev had implementied a button to awkwardly and quietly say "excuse me" XD that mechanic, of course, would have no effect as people would just ignore and keep pushing in whatever direction the bus sways.

Overall very good mood and aesthetic but i could use some diferent stages like maybe having to go the opposite direction of a wallking croud because you forgot something or being stuck at the back of an elevator, so on and so forth.

Good job, i had fun

16. Aug 2018 · 03:54 UTC
Love the concept here, the art style and the lighting are fantastic! I don't think I've even seen janky game physics used intentionally as an obstacle like this before, nice job. I would've liked to see more gameplay elements introduced in the later levels (i.e. bigger people, other people trying to move around, etc), but it's understandable that there would be less content in a ludum dare game. Nice work!

Loved the concept, really liked the artwork and the music. I couldn't move my character beyond swapping between two spaces and couldn't pass the first level. It made me very frustrated.

From what I hear, the web version is different to the download version in terms of physics.

16. Aug 2018 · 12:37 UTC
Great graphics, love the mood and feel to the game.
A bit of variety in the levels would have been cool though, like you could have other people trying to move around, or heavier people that are a real pain, or people that shoved you back and mumbled some swears under their breath - cause I really did feel like the annoying pushy person XD Just a few ideas I had while playing.
But a really solid entry, nice work!

Really fun game, definitely reminds me of the really packed trains in the UK. Definitely like the music and there is a nice glow to the game to give it the feeling of a summer day. However I cannot get past the first level, there's no way to get past the people, and if there are gaps, the crowds don't fill them up. Based on other comments it might be due to the physics of the web version, but I feel the physics should be consistent.

I really wanted to like this game. It's a great concept and it looks really good. The sounds are also really nice, but I just couldn't get through the first level. I must have tried around 15 times and I just couldn't finish it out. The feeling you created was great, but it just got too frustrating to continue. I think relying on physics to be the backbone of the system makes it tricky to get a controlled outcome.

17. Aug 2018 · 10:20 UTC
Very simple and efficient idea. It's a great LD entry :)
I tried with a gamepad but I think the game is not event possible with gamepad, it's way easier on keyboard. Probably because a keyboard input is not sensitive so it's always the maximum force applied every frame.

When I saw the lighting on the cylindrical travelers, I felt impressed! If you continue to develop this, when I shoved my way to the row above or below and no one filled in the space I was in, I felt a bit frustrated. I wasn't seeing how to progress.

18. Aug 2018 · 12:40 UTC
Cute concept, the music was great and the graphics, although simple, were pleasing and consistent. But I do think that it needs some extra mechanics that could be used to differentiate the levels a bit, as I found myself using pretty much the same "tactic" for each level.
Overall, it's a really cute idea with a great execution!

18. Aug 2018 · 19:07 UTC
I really like the art style and the music was good. As a New Yorker, I felt stressed playing this game ;) That being said I think you need to work on the gameplay a bit. I felt like I was just pushing randomly and there wasn't much strategy to the game. It's a good concept, just needs a little more work.

Whow, adorable design, soothing music, lovely atmosphere. I really enjoy the feeling of inching over to the door and making it there right on time! I wish there was something more to the level as the level progresses, like there are kids or old people on the train, so it doesnt get too repetitive in mid-game. Otherwise, a very solid entry. Great work!!

Great use of the theme. Certainly evokes the same kind of feeling as trying to get through a crowd IRL, but perhaps you could add a few more mechanics, such as perhaps an "excuse me" button (which depletes some kind of politeness meter maybe?), or more kinds of passenger (eg drunks who will jostle you and potentially push you back).

The physics could do with tweaking to be a bit "squishier" - Maybe instead of just relying on the glitchniness of the rigidbody physics, have each passenger repel others within some very small radius, with the strength decreasing based on distance (like springs, or magnets).

A unique mechanic that makes you live the experience of trying to get out of a means of transport crammed with NPCs (everyday stuff). I liked the visual style and the music, but I can't avoid thinking it is a bit relaxing in contrast with a quite stressing situation. My biceps hurt after playing it, thanks!.

This was so hard, and didn't even get past level 1 haha. Really nice game. Nice graphics, nice sound effects. An dI looove how you've interpreted the theme, it's original.

P.S.: I was so stressed out while playing it haha

Really fun and polished, but also frustrating! Graphics are minimalistic, but awesome, and audio is great as well!
I liked it, keep up the good work!

Really nice concept, grafics are very apropiated and sounds are very good. The only thing is that i felt like it was only one level. It was missing some variation between levels, maybe people moving or sitting or biger or smaller people. I think you can make a really nice game out of this. Nice game overall.

Really nasty to play, perfect! Particularly interesting as this is also the theme of our game. Well done!

Now that you've put the physics code in the physics update loop I could actually play the game  I've finished the game and will adjust my score.

Oh boy, this is like any physics game I've made in the past, just with a good coat of paint on it lol. Great idea and surprisingly fun when you actually gamify the physics system like that.

Wow, this is surprisingly fun! You made my everyday become a game, and I loved it!
An excellent take on the theme. Good job!

Too real, haha. Pretty simple, but enjoyable nonetheless. Extra bonus points for making the most tantalizing gif previews, those are great!

The BGM is pretty groovy! Almost =too= groovy though, might not actually match with the feel of....being stuck in a sea of people.

I came back to this on a better PC as I couldn't run it before, but now I've played it, it's quite cute! I stopped playing after there didn't seem to be much variation in gameplay, I assume the timer just gets shorter each time? Still, music, graphics and theme were pretty well done!

I beat the game! I loved it. I wish there were more levels though. For example, it would be nice if there were competing (non static) people in the bus who tried to beat you to the door. Besides that, I loved the graphics, concept, and title screen.

Nice use of the theme ! make me stress out x)

Concernng graphics, I really like it, the effects with lights and shaking it really add something to the game :)

Great work, one of the best compo I played

The concept is awesome and hilarious. 4/5 for the humour for that. Can't help but love how it's one casual guy vs some 100+ office workers, and the casual guy is the only one aware of that war. 5/5 for the theme, and for the graphics. I love how you didn't bother adding eyes to these people, since it adds to the quirkiness. The fact you made this alone in such a short time is amazing!

Amazing lighting! There could have been some kind of hurdle every stop though, rather than just less time.

Liked the game. Nice graphics and music - simple and to the point. Gameplay can get a bit frustrating in the end, though. Perhaps, it would help if you made the headphones guy skinnier? Good luck! PS I feel like you could deliver more on the theme, since in the game I can't really feel that I am "running out of space", really. Also, you could make a better progression, since you start off in a super-crowded wagon (or whatever it is called).

This was a really great entry! I kept seeing it pop up on itch.io while streaming 200+ LDJAM games and finally caved and gave it a go awhile back! Just now catching up on rating and commenting on all those submissions. The music is really catchy and fits well with the overall aesthetic. The art and lighting is amazing! I couldn't beat level five though, I wished there were more variations between the levels. Other than that, great job, bravo!
