You are a medieval hero person. You are tasked to save the princess. Problem is that it is a medieval era and the hygiene is awful. On your way to get the princess you meet many enemies and traps. And strangely appealing moldy food. Also the mystery potions are super tasty. But be careful that you don't get sick.

not bad. but...
sometimes its hard to hit enemy (due to perspective), difficulty is set too high (i was dying only after few rooms) - could be cause by confusing perspective and mix sprites with 3d space and unclear collisions. But overall its not that bad :)

Great entry. Nice graphics especially the 3d parts.
The combat could have more weight to it (maybe by having the enemies react with some animation/sound/... to getting hit).
The buff/debuff stack could give more information to the player (maybe have a tooltip for the buffs?).
The bits of humor in the flavor texts was nice.

Love the medievalish approach!

Great job!
I didn't notice at first but the debuffs actually stack on themselves. I was wondering why I kept on bleeding and bleeding and bleeding. I think that is a cool mechanic, and it fits the theme very well.

The graphics style and the 3D system clashes a bit. I think it would have been better as a 2D game.

The enemies move just as fast as the player and the flies always hit. This seems needlessly difficult and does not allow for skillful movement. It would be really cool if the PC could strafe or avoid the attacks.

I still enjoyed the game, of course. :)

Nice game! Loved the 3D assets! I'll join other comments in the fact that while the theme is fairly well interpreted here, it lacks a little bit information as to what is happening to us. A tooltip on the debuffs would help a lot in clearing this issue!

The concept of many different endings is fun, though it seems to be a little bit hard to get to see them! I'm sure that with more time to develop it, this feature could be awesome! (I'd let myself die of diarrhea if this could give me an achievement)

Music is funny & I like the billboard idea.

But some default on attack animation make fighting system a bit strange.
Good work however.

The music was very cool, although a bit too upbeat compared to the overall disease-ridden theme. The mixture of 2d and 3d resulted in some very confusing angles at times, but overall the main dungeon-crawling RPG tropes were there.

@stadoblech @andreas-ragen-ayal @mikkpr The original idea was to use top-down view with 2d sprites and 3d world (like for example the binding of Isaac), but the character sprites that our artist did were too high compared to the width and we had to rethink our camera angle. The result was interesting but sadly it had an impact on the combat.

@vovin @ehnne Tooltips were an idea that we sadly didn't have time to implement. I prioritized giving a few more interesting endings in there since there was a risk i wouldn't be able to finish the tooltips and then we would have had neither. Thank you for your input however, it's good to know that the tooltips idea was a good one. :)

Also when you get to the princess and have dysentery (causing diarrhea), it will give a unique ending. :)

This was a really cool idea. I like where you went with the theme.

Not a bad game, but it was a bit hard to see what was going on. Also, the attack collission seemed off.
Could be a good game with a bit of additional polish.
