Fat and Furry-ous by Tex Killer

This cute mouse has one addiction: cheese!
It would be fine if it wasn't for the bad broom that is coming. Can you keep the mouse away from its addiction and make it to the hole?

Development notes
Fat and Furry-ous was developed using the latest version of Unity 3D. The artwork was edited in Gimp and modeled on Blender 3D. In addition to our custom content, we also used a free broom model and a free hamster wheel model found online. The licenses are included in the Licenses and Links.txt file.

And thank you very much for playing! :D
I removed that now, so can you download and try the game again? Thank you very much either way!
The game idea has high potential. You already developed the main mechanics. You could easily add different types of collectibles and obstacles which could extend its playing time much more and make it more fun too.
But all in all nice game. Congratulations :)
I still didn't have time to start rating games, but once I do yours will be the first! I see you made one for LD #39 too, good job! :D
I loved the art style.
I think it's a good casual game.
You can make it works well for mobile too, probably if you add more controls.
A tip is try to introduce one game mechanic at time.
You could make a fast first level without the wheel and introduce it in the second level.
@luvinicius, we didn't have enough time to create multiple levels, but if we did we would have done that.
Thank you all for playing!
Great job!
Yeah, that was my goal when I programmed the cheese. :P
The wheel wasn't supposed to be a trap, you can use it to burn some fat and leave before the broom gets you, but we didn't have enough time for the level design, so the wheel ended up too hard to use and survive.
In any case...
The music in your game is just spot on! I loved the purposefully dissonant menu-tune and the friendly credits-jingle.
The graphics have that nice, home-made feel to them, without feeling like they're worse off for it.
Gameplay-wise there are some balance-issues I think: Try as I might, I basically always fail if I eat even one cheese-ball. There just isn't enough time to burn off any fat on the wheel when that's happened.
After you left Rude Bear Rumble we reached a dead end, so you didn't miss much... haha
It is possible to eat the cheese ball(s) right before the wheel, enter the wheel, burn a little fat and leave without dying, but I admit it is harder than it was supposed to be.
Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback! :D
Very cool and simple game. Good job!
Great art style! And the way you communicated game info was great (like the fat meter, distance from the wheel, broom chasing the rat, etc...)

Music is awesome and perfect for setting the mood!
But sounds are good)
The first 2 times I played I thought the spheres were like coins where you had to grab as much as you could so I kept dying super fast. After that avoiding the cheese was actually very easy to do.
Good game and good job!
