For this Ludum Dare I didn't had full time to do my game since I had to help a neighboor take out the cows off his barn. That's where the idea came. Since taking out cows is very frustrating because they don't always comply, the concept is to mix a relaxing game and a farming simulator. It seems the two genre are very compatible, but in this case it is not and you will know why by playing the game. If you wander what the title refers to, it's the serial number of a particularly stubborn cow. It became an inside joke between me and the farmer.
My source code is the image of a cartridge if you are familiar with pico-8
The controls are the arrow keys to move and x to swear
Enjoy!

Nothing is supposed to happen if you bring all the cows on one side. You have to bring the white on the grass and the brown on the gravel.
The pico-8 graphics works well and the audio complements it: super fine.
The idea is not bad but I'm not sure wich genres are mixed here but is far from relaxing.
I think you should rethink the game mechanics to enable the players the option of making an strategy.
Keep working keeping a focus on user experience.
MacDoom that's the point of the joke. I made it the least relaxing possible. Usually farming games are relaxing, but I wanted to show that real farming is not. Thus making incompatible two genres that are usually compatible.
I agree with the others it was a bit too hard to tell how you're affecting their movement, if at all. Them sticking in the corner leaving you with no means of moving them was likewise frustrating. I know frustrating is part of the point but I'd say the general herding part did "frustrating" better than them sitting in the corner.
I found game is little challenging. but it's fine for me.
In reality cow also moving same way. they never go as we intended.
Few suggestion for future improvements
1) you can add power ups like freeze cow for few seconds in that position. and other power up like cow go towards grass.
2) you can tie down few cows with rope so they cannot move.
You can make mobile game also. I think it's more suitable.(this is just suggestion from my end)
there is some lag issue over time however.
Actually, what @Le Slo suggest is a good idea, different kinds of swears would be amazing.
The art is cute, however, the background music is a bit repetitive. But overall it is a good game
But yeah, it's a strange blend of relaxing and... not relaxing. There's no rush to put the cows where they belong, but man, when you try to.... Ugh. Maybe I feel your pain now. Either way, not a bad game!
I don't think I got the farming part, the only thing you do is separate cows, isn't it? or is there something else?
I see the cows pooping but that doesn't seem to affect anything
Great pico entry!
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.

That was pretty damn hard, I actually couldn't finish it. I could get pretty close but my god sometimes the cows just go mad and make a break for it to the other side. I'm glad you didn't make the poop an obstacle, that would've made things impossible for sure. I liked it, one of the hardest herding games I've played which would normally frustrate me, but you went for the theme perfectly with this one.
