The basic idea in this game is to mix LD 43 theme into a game mechanic and a plot device. Some of the original suggestions were cut off to reduce final work for our small team. Be aware this is a test prototype!

You play as Puka, a character based on Andean mithology, during a solar eclipse. This event triggers a sacrificial rite to please Inti, the Sun God. Priests go down the Sacred City to search for children as offering. You should flee from them before spending all of your Vital Points, or you will be carried away. If they get you, struggle to avoid being dragged. As if this were not enough, you must return to find your little sister who was taking care of home.

How to play

  • Arrow keys to walk
  • Press space to run
  • Smash your Left CTRL to set yourself free. This action consumes Spiritual Points
  • Get Sacred Leafs to restore your Spiritual Points
  • Don't forget: you have Vital Points, to run around, and Spiritual Points, to release youserlf

Is it winnable? I die very fast from lack of vitality
There is a little bug when priest get you till the border of the map: your are stuck and no game over happens

Pressing CTRL + WASD does stuff in my explorer so i cant' play properly. Maybe change the mana to health hability to Q instead? the game looks really cool. U could post some images on this page to help visibility of the project!

I am not good at this game :D its kind of weird to have the priests just standing around doing nothing until I come close enough. Good job on the backstory and character work! I enjoy the idea!
