Polymorph by motorherp

[raw]
made by motorherp for LD35 (COMPO)
A dodge em up game inspired by Super Monkey Ball and Geometry Wars. Use the arrow keys to guide your ball and collect crystals to recharge your health whilst avoiding the invaders. All the while the world is morphing under your feet trying to tug you in different directions. The longer you play the more extreme the world deformations become and the more invaders there are to dodge.

All in all I'm quite pleased with how this turned out given it's my first jam. There's plenty I would have liked to add however such as different world morphs and enemy types but I could only spare a little over 10 hours on this in the end.

Enjoy

Pretty nice graphics. Liked the dynamics too.
You sure know that including 100mb pdb debug files wasn't strictly necessary? =)

The controls could use some polish, but Great gameplay idea, running around this bubble is pretty nice.

Nice entry, the crystals are a bit too hard to catch though (maybe bigger collision boxes). Good job :)

Liked the music and graphics but did find it hard to move around and collect the yellow crystals. Would be nice to see a version with tighter controls but definitely understandable with only 10hrs to work on it. Also nice job on finishing your first Jam.
