Dawning by Ludipe
----
Dawning: Shape a new land and build a sustainable place to live in!
World-builder card-based game. Drag tiles to the grid to place them. Each type of tile has different placement restrictions and effects. Fill the board to end the game. Some advanced rules are included in the game.
----
Hints: Use your mouse for pretty much everything. Right click to zoom in/out and "R" to reset.
READ ME!: If playing from this page clicking fullscreen before leaving the menu will glitch it
Note: We ended up with just 12h to work on our Ludum Dare entry, so "Dawning" is probably way far from being well-balanced. Still had lots of fun working on it :-)

I personally had a little bug that prevent me to finish the game (Zoom in-out) outside of the window in Web app.
But a really good work!
Great work!
But as you said, you only had a short time to work on it so bugs and balance issues are expected :) It's very impressive for 12 hours!
I love the concept, though! Very relaxing. Keep working on this, it's got potential! Nice work, thanks for sharing it. :)
I found it quite addictive, but also very random. The only rule for when fires should break out seemed to be 'whenever it looks like I'm doing well'. A lovely game though. Would very much like to see how this would play once you've had more time to work on it.
Very interesting idea, and it's especially merit-worthy with so little development time. Great job!!
But I couldn't figure out a good strategy before I was deep into the game. At first I tried to replicate a realistic landscape, but I doesn't seem to be the best approach :P
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
