Interesting idea! Here is some suggestions:

1. **Mouse support.** It's uncomfortable to play with keyboard.

2. **Different enemies.** Getting boring fast. Add some enemies.

P. S. Sorry for my English.

It's amazing how a game so simple can be so addicting! Echo @madamin-z suggestions, I like the simplicity of the style of the game, but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Nice work!

A great idea, but I found the paddle controls to be somewhat itchy. Perhaps that is where the difficulty comes from.

It's a very simple idea, but also a very good one. Adding some very simple graphics (or even just colors) would make it much more visually interesting, but it's a good prototype.

Also, I encountered a bug: it seems to be possible for blocks you deflect to hit other incoming blocks, and then both of them get stuck in space.

Neat game, i think with a couple of tweaks it could be much better.
Meaby you could add different kinds of objects with different abilities(EG: one that cleans some of the cubes up, and one that slows/speeds the bar). i think you should keep working on the game since it has a simple and yet so enjoyable gameplay

Pros:
- I like the idea, it's clever and simple
___
Cons:
- Would have liked it if some more gameplay mechanics were put in place on top of this concept. Maybe powerups?
___
As an aside, I personally didn't hate the paddle control -- it added to the difficulty
