Apocalypse World Cup by Issac

Goal
The ball is the Earth, but you're also on the Earth... don't think about it too hard. If you spin the ball, you spin the world. If you set the ball on fire, you set the world on fire. Destroy the Earth with your color of flames to win!

Really fun, great job guys !
As a negative part, graphically is not the best.
And there are 2 things that bothered me a little, the screams and the fact of not knowing clearly where it happens. The platform or whatever ... I suggest something more like galaxies or something...
I also missed some interaction when a player hit the other dashing. A bit of knockback maybe?
I found the audio to be overstimulating, i can only imagine with the extra input of a second player.
@jason-kennedy Hi! The game is not single-player; it is a local-multiplayer game only. We would love to make an AI for single-player eventually, but we didn't include a single-player mode in the jam version. Please don't judge the game without playing it multiplayer.
Love the co-op and the overall use of the theme. The 2d zoom effects and rotations work well too, though they make me a little nauseous after playing for awhile. I love toasting the earth. :) Great job!
The intro/between level transition was awesome! Controls were easy to learn but it was not as easy to master it so that you end up actually doing what intended
to do.
Would love it if there were more maps and an option for single player.
Also, though we didn't have any problems with the spinning, allow an option to remove the spinning as i can see people getting dizzy from it.
Otherwise, great game! Looking forward for other games you make.
> Did not realise the world spins together with the ball though, that could have been made clearer in the game.
We thought that might be a problem, but we weren't really sure how to solve it. At first, we had the camera spinning at the same rate as the ball. The spinning was way too fast, and it looked funny like the ball wasn't spinning at all since the camera-spin and ball-spin cancelled each other out. Now the camera spins at 15% of the rate the ball spins and we added camera shake when the ball hits the walls -- that's the best we've come up with so far. Any ideas to improve that to make it clearer what's happening?
Game is cool and sounds are super exciting. well done
