I loved the soundtrack change when switching to fishing mode!

Looked great, sounded great, got to crash my girlfriends boats into rocks only to have her overtake later and win easily because I am trash at fishing. I'd say thats some superb-ass racing right there.

It was a bit difficult to control at first, but when I figured it out it was great. I liked the animations, they were super cool. Cool game, loved it.

Love the concept, can't wait to play this with a friend! I got a bit confused at first with the fishing, but when you figure it out it's smooth. The ability to stockpile the fish can get a bit confusing but is very good. Allows you to fish when you have advantage and later on eat the stuff.

This is one of the most seamless incompatible game combos I've tried. The music transition between racing and fishing was great. This was super fun and I'll totally play it again when I don't have to race against myself. :)

This is super fun! I think my favorite part about the game may be the art -- it's nostalgic and it fits very well. Great use of the theme!

The game oozes with character and I love it: from the sound, to the title screen, to the classic retro look. I too found fishing confusing at first, I think the window to successfully get the fish should be a bit bigger and the "!" a bit bigger as well. But this might just be a result of my reflexes. Either way, I genuinely enjoyed the game with a huge grin on my face.

The idea is really funny, i wouldn't expect a game mixing fishing and racing x) I had quite a hard time figurating out how to control the game, but had fun. I think it can work with some tweaks on game rythm and controls. Art is nice too !

@tajamsoft playing with a friend is more fun! we did not even have time to play during the game jam, but then we played with 2 players and with xbox controls and found it a lot of fun hahah

I love the changing music, it's so good. I was playing it alone, but with a friend, it must be FUN.

It looks very fun to play. I'm willing to play it with a friend, playing alone isn't the same.

Nice take on the Fishing+Racing theme.
The menu is confusing since you can't actually play single player but I really love the art style and the fishing line as a selector is a nice touch.

The title didn't get me excited, but from title screen onwards it was an absolute blast. Really enjoyed the conflicting genres - and I think the music used when switching between modes really helped emphasise the difference between fishing mode and race mode. Graphics were nice too, I only played on my own #foreveralone but it was still fun to a grip of the mechanics! awesome job!

We need online play! I think I will be running this one again when I have some friends over because this was a blast to trial even alone XD Good work team!

I've played with my girlfriend and we had a blast! Such a fun experience. You should definitely work on an official release, it's a very good party game!

I love it! The juxtaposition of high speed racing and calm fishing is really funny, yet it actually worked really well! I only have 2 complaints.

For one, fishing felt really luck based. Sometimes, you just keep getting fish while your opponent is not getting any bites. It seems a tad unfair.

Secondly, there were a lot of controls for having 2 people on one keyboard. I see that you are planning on adding gamepad support in the future. That is exactly what I wanted! Although, I would still look into ways to make keyboard controls simpler for those who don't have controllers.

Really good job on the game. The only thing is sort of a nitpick, but the notification on fish biting is just a tad to subtle - i found it hard to know when to press the button to reel them in. But this is something they've polished over and over and over in the bash pro fishing series.

Wow! Racing and fishing combined with a perfect theme. The music was great within the game. Really helps set the mood of the game.

Nice litte fun game. A bit difficult at first because I ran out of energy and even if I have fishes I couldn't actually eat it when you ran out of energy. I like the music and the cool graphics :) well done !

@sirkovitch I love fishing games, but that was my first. We had so many ideas for the game in the beginning, but almost did not have time to do the basics, which is more complex than we expected.

I love the combination. A lot of games in this jam tend to be two genres mashed together with no care for mechanical or thematic linking. This is not one of them. Huge fun for two players, great job!

So polished and so cool! I don't have a friend around, but it's definitely lots of fun to play. I added it to a collection to play with someone when I have a chance.

I really enjoy this pixel art, especially the color scheme. And the music is also very well made.

The fishing part is effective yet a little bit simplistic. Giving it just a bit more depth would make it very interesting.

This was a lot of fun! The concept was great and the graphics/audio fit the mood. I think the biggest sore spot here for me is the controls. I'm all for sharing a keyboard, but we were pretty much in each others space when playing this. Maybe tossing in gamepad support would've helped with this, but I understand the time constraints. I would've also maybe made the track a little shorter, but I'm also just being nit-picky at this point. Really this was a solid entry and has some of the best 2 player interactions I've seen so far in the jam. Great work!

Really cool game!

I played with a friend of mine and the core mechanic created some really cool moments at the final moment of the race, although I think you could reinforce that with some game design elements ( like hooking the enemy boat with your finishing rod? haha)

The only thing I have to complain about is the axis on the gamepad, most of the time it was miss moving my boat in diagonals, probably allowing the dpad would solve that!

Overall it is a solid game, keep up the great work!

When we played two players, the first player had struggled with catching fish. The ! wasn't showing up when they cast the line, while for player two the ! was often showing up immediately. The race wasn't really fair due to the imbalance in fish caught. Player 2 crossed the finish line when Player 1 was barely halfway through.

Was the fish drops random, or was there a glitch for player 1?

I liked how you tried to combine fishing with racing. Rarely do games require you to stop and recharge in the middle of something that would typically be fast paced. I think the game has potential as long as fish allotment is balanced.
