I really liked the mood, it really felt like I was back in the days, trying to glide my way out into the unknown.... FOR SCIENCE!
Very nice game, but controls aren't the smoothest when building.
Editing could be a bit better (rotating camera around, and snapping could be a bit more polished), but apart from that it is quite enjoyable. Making editing is quite an accomplishment within the Ludum Dare time frame!
Good job and keep up the good work!
First, the rotation of the camera was weird, I had to move the mouse across the screen multiple times to get to a side view. You could make it reflect more the movement of the mouse.
Second, I found the joints somewhat limited. I was thinking a glider that had left and rigth wings plus a single wing could work but I couldn't built it. Also I wasn't very clear how the extra joint worked.
And lastly, besides the cool link with the last words in the intro. The game itself do not reflect the theme, which is the idea.
But overall is a great and fun game. Great job!!!
Ps. It would have been awesome to have a web build. You used Unity, so you should be able to just build for webGL and host it on itch.io along with your downloads
