Cata Crunch by ThisIsVeryPointless
Two Player Snake Inspired game, collect the apples, avoid the rocks,
Player 1 uses WASD
Player 2 uses Arrow Keys
Note: Game takes a while to load first time
Update:
Fixed bug where collisions weren't working correctly, also fixed bug with player dying, opposite player should now get + 10 score.

Only gripe I have is that a single player mode would make it more fun for me.
BTW: I didn't give a high score on theme because I don't really see the shape shifting theme. Looks more like last time's "Growing" theme.
Nice graphics tho.

4 key controls was another dislike. In classic snake you use two buttons and it should stay like this. The rest of the game is average. I feel that character are moving a little too fast. There is a lot of place for improvements so that to make game more wow.
I have very limited internet transfer so I was amazed to see that such game has 100mb. It's a lot for game like this. As I looked through the files I've seen you kept your sprites at full size scalling them to 0.15 in game. This is bad practice. Scale the sprites - this decreases file size.
Competitive snake is a good idea though. Good execution otherwise, I think.
Oh, the sides of the screen taking health feels a bit unfair. Maybe wrapping would have been better?
Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description
