This is the most original take on the snake game I have ever played! Well Done!

Very cool take on snake! These kind of games are still addictive after all these years. The SFX fits the music very well. The only critique I have is that the controls are a bit unresponsive, which is very important in these kind of games. Nice work overall!

Love the twist on the classic Snake game. The player moved a little fast, and if you press the keys too quickly the input is not received. Either slowing the player down or capturing the key presses in a queue would be a great improvement.

Playing it for more than 5 min was nearly impossible because it just makes you dizzy. Too many color changes and movements in squares. Disturbs your eyes

i like the idea, better snake alternative :) but after some points, it will getting very hard. because red monsters also attack to our tail and it will directly kill us, if this mechanics change with something less punishing, it will be more playable. anyway idea is cool :)

I like the game, it is a cool twist on the classic snake. I managed to get a score of 18. It starts out quite easy, but at 10 people, the difficulty rises (in a good way). I don't like the background colors, they make it hard to see people and enemies sometimes. Otherwise good entry!

I nice and fun snake game with a few twists. The conga line itself should be a bit more distinct from the background as it's a bit hard to see with all the space between blocks. Maybe it would help if the people in the line would actually hold hands.

Great variation on snake! I really like the music.

Also, what's the font you use on your itchio page?

One of the best musical atmosphere for this Ludum dare. You really need more visibility because your game is fun, the concept is simple and I have to say that your entry is also addictive. Great work and great audacity for having created a musical-game.

This is a cool take on the snake classic - it really took me back to playing Snake on an old Nokia - obviously this is a lot more appealing in video/audio though.

I liked how the gameplay was simple but also challenging - like the difficulty really ramps up quickly. I was able to get a best score of 25 but then it gets really hard not to get hit by the red guys.

My only suggestion to improve the concept would be to make the dancer/character model textured like the conga dancer pickups? I did find the orange colour harder to see than any other sprite and that was your main guy. Also sometimes id press a direction to start the game and die immediately cause id move into the wall? maybe locking the spawn in the middle would help this?

overall a good effort though, well done!

Loved the theme. I thought the idea of a Congo line on some disco floor floating in space was a really funny idea. This was a tough game to get a high score in (I think mine was 17) because the longer you got, the easier of a target you were for the dancers. I wonder how the game would have played if you got points for successfully shooting one of the dancers because then you would get a little reward for sacrificing one of the people in your Congo line. One other small thing was that I found it a bit difficult to make two moves in succession i.e. going up and then left to make a U-turn. Other than that I though you made a great game, and it was a neat twist on Snake. Also music was really good. Congratulations on making a game in 48 hours.

Wow I found that one pretty difficult. I guess the best strategy is no mainly move in horizontal lines to avoid the enemies. Overall I likes the game - only one suggestion I have would be to increase the contrast between the colors of the conga line and the floor tiles. Except of course the low contrast is on purpose - it gives the game a very trippy feeling as the player has to keep track to where the line goes.

Thank your for making this.

Here are my thoughts on your game. I'll start with the good side :) Music was good, it fit the game pretty well! While the graphics are not beautiful or good, it's fun and eye catching. The concept is good, it matches the theme well! Also i like the sound effect when i eat the food(dunno how to call it), it's kinda satisfying and feels like i'm making the music! Ok this was what i liked in the game, now it's time for the not so good side. While the graphics are fun, the movement of the objects makes my eyes a bit dizzy. The game becomes boring after a while, consider adding new mechanics over time, that would make the game much more fun to play! Also the game lacks polish. But considering that you made this in 48 hours, good job! Overall this is a good game!

Very good music and sound effects! I feel like the whole sacrifice mechanic could be more sentral or useful in some way, but overall the game was fun to play. A job well done!
