So with this project I tried to take a different approach. In this sidescroller shooter you play as a squad of aircraft. You can unlock more members by collecting the powerup. The main concept is that everything corresponds to color the same color. There are various enemies in the game, but you can not attack them if you do not have the same color.

Got 180200. It's a pretty fun game. The particles and effects are really flashy and cool. It was annoying that sometimes the ships sometimes didn't aim at the enemies that were closest to me. It was a implementation of the theme.

This is outstanding. Gameplay's smooth and intense - it felt like a ballet when I was doing well, and then I got totally overwhelmed around phase 7 and it became more of a frantic jig. Great visual effects; the pulses of color around things helped a lot with keeping track of what was going on. Some music to go with the visuals would have been a nice improvement, but honestly it works in silence too. One of the best games I've seen in this jam so far - great work!

Amazing gameplay! Love the simple colors, very smooth and addictive! Just had fun playing this game, congrats! Agree with @mahalis some sounds would have been great but really not mandatory with these visual effects! Great job !!!

Probably one of the best games on here! Engaging and fun :) lovely idea. I did notice that the targeting AI put me in bad spots at times, but what the hell the game is awesome as it is right now!

I got 81k points! It was a little hard to understand at first but once I got it, it was very intuitive. The game would really have benefited from some audio :).

The graphics were very cool and the mechanics worked quite smoothly. The game really fit the theme and switching the "main" color was well done. It got really hard with four colors. Good job!

Wow, Fantastic visual style, nice gameplay hook. Only real complaints being it was hard to lose, and there's no reason not to always be shooting, but those are really minor nit picks. Great entry!

Your models were simple but your effects made for graphics that felt super polished! I feel like this game would have really been enhanced with some sound effects, although through my own sound effect experience I know that's not always the easiest thing to do on a time crunch. The gameplay was really fun, although I did get screwed a couple times by the fact that the squad doesn't necessarily aim at the closest enemy. I enjoyed the game overall, though! Great work!

Very well made, I had a great time, the effects look very good. It would be nice if you had to aim or not shoot all the time (with a cooldown or something).

Looks great, but not much difficulty to it (can spam right click and hold left click to breeze through everything!) Managing colours was fun until I realised you could spam right click though

That's solid and fun! I love that you set the aiming to automatic, if I need to aim myself, I properly mass up at phase 2 or 3 haha.
If your game has a good bgm, that will be super awesome! that's sad you didn't get enough time to set up the music but that's still a great game!

The good:
- Original gameplay.
- Very nice graphics !
- The game is fun.

The bad :
- It lacks a quit button at the end or the possibility to quit the game during a party (escape for instance).
- No sound nor music. I would have appreciated a good electro music !
- It isn't really easy to choose a specific target imo.

Good game even if it's just a prototype, well done :)

Hey everyone! thank you so much for all of the feedback! I really appreciate it. I totally understand the disappointment from the lack of music. unfortunately I tried and failed at making something, so instead of putting something super mediocre I just focused on making the game better in general. I will definetetly get some sound in there when I continue to work on the project!

Cool idea, nice clean art style. There was an interesting variety of enemies, and I had fun playing. Only bug I saw was that I couldn't shoot mines that formed on the left edge of the screen. Being able to control the firing direction would be cool.
