Sheep It by anstabo
Sheep It is a relaxing game about using sheep lives as currency for tools. You have to send more than 150 sheeps to complete the game.

Patch Notes
Update 1 :
- Fixed a bug where a sheep would sometimes stare into space, wondering the meaning of life.
- Reduced the chance of a sheep floating above the pit.
- Increased the mass of the key and collector bots. This will prevent them from being thrown on the road from the reward pipe.
- Fixed a bug where spamming pick up next to a pickable (Sheep, bot, lure ...) would get it stuck.

I was just a bit confused by what should I do with the orange "thingies" that come out when I sell the sheeps LOL.
Overall, pretty good and cute game!
@Wyatt Thanks ! And yeah we also happened to lose a couple keys like that. The reward pipes launch them a bit too strongly, but we didn't have time to fix it. I'll get a post jam fix for that ;)
This makes me think about the art of the video game Pan-Pan.

If anything, in this jam, I've learnt that this is the last time I try to write AIs with multiple behaviours without behaviour trees x)
The farting mushrooms are top notch!
You created a great world :thumbsup:
I chuckled when I got the robot, it is cute and it would throw the sheep in the road sometimes, hahaha
Never expected to see what proposes to be a relaxing game but includes some kind of automation mechanic. And it actually works (not only as the intented mechanic but along with the relaxing theme).
I was prone to comment about the sheep treatment until i saw the end, which also was quite the fun and surprise.
Somehow the graphics manage to be simplistic yet attractive. I guess its the minimalist aesthetic that is pleasant and fit the relaxing theme along the gently melody.
It just runs a little away from the theme when it's not your life that is the currency, but the sheep.
Anyway, excellent job making this game. Hoping to see more quality content in the next jams!
(is that sound from stepping the mushrooms ... huh ... farts?)
And thanks ! As for the last question, well ... we were tired. We'll put that on the tiredness, yes.
Really nice job - I had a blast playing!
Really enjoyed the automation and the overall relaxing tone of the game. It's really impressive that you guys made something of this quality in such a short time frame!

Very cool game I wanted to play since the first post during the jam. Great work!
If you have some more ideas on automation and how to progress further, I'd encourage you to continue work on this, it might have some potential beyond the jam!
Very charming game, the animations and the overall art direction were top-notch. The character movement and the sheep ragdolling added a lot of character to the game. Same goes for the music, a great package on the whole, really.
the fact that the sheep could make derpy towers was quite hilarious too!
Perhaps we should make the game a little easier on the sheep count, but once you manage to create all the relays for the sheeps, the truck constantly goes with 15+ sheeps. It's really a matter of if the player does automate or not for the game length ^^
This was the complete package for me: fun graphics and animation (especially the idle), soothing sound, and surprisingly interesting gameplay. It's not just about throwing sheep into a truck!
Increase the "breaks volume alittle more" and emit a "horn" sfx for the truck when it arrives to assist the user;
Some "grab" sfx like a protagonist "grunt" to add some weight to the sheep, some grunt to the throw action to add some force and stregnth, also a sheep feedback to maybe add the feeling of hugging It;
Change completely the orange balls that you use to lure the ships by something that looks like a bait (carrots, apples, lettuce);
Some Reverberance to increase the sensation of a more open space.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words and bug report, I'm glad you still enjoyed the game ! And sorry about that ruining your playthrough :s
Highlights for me were discovering that the sheep orbs make you a pied-piper of sheep, and unlocking the first door only to have all the sheep get distracted by the pit of death.
It was a joy to play, and the mega-sheep ending was the cherry on top :smile:
one of the few 5/5 on this jam, absurdly good job guys
I fell in love with those bouncing sheeps since the very first moment.
Music is relaxing and perfectly fits the global mood.
I'm one of the ones who prefer arrows to WASD, but it is really a minor issue! My only problem is that i keep hit E instead of W, throwing my sheeps everywere (and losing time to laugh at their bouncing behaviour).

And a giant angry sheep came out of the tube and roared.

ps: Haha I didn't know that the sheep could be suicidal xD (in one of the times I wanted to get rid of some spheres, so I tried to play one on the cliff, but It didn't disappear, It stayed there and the sheep were jumping from there and I didn't know what to do, I didn't know whether to laugh or if I jumped too ~~you can't do that~~) The ending was unexpected hahaha. Great job!
Thanks for this awesome experience.
The music, sound effects, animations and interactions all established a fun and inviting mood to the game. The first time I stepped on a shroom, I didn't know what happened. Then when I got to the shroom-filled area, I laughed as I frolicked through the fart field.
My only suggestion is really minor: try to fit the waypointing globes better within your setting.
Played till the end. Now I'm playing it again! Full marks, congratulations!!
Both the audio and the visuals are absolutely top notch. Initially I imagined collecting the sheep would be tedious, but it becomes strangely relaxing. The only gripe I have, is that the connection with the theme isn't quite there. There's also a bug where if you jump against a wall you consistently get stuck in the jumping animation, being unable to jump again or pick up anything until you somehow maneuver yourself back into the running animation. Other than that, the game is an absolute joy! Good job!
Anyway, the animations are great and really fun, especially the character's walk cycle.
The music suits well the game and is pretty relaxing.
I loved the robots and how they work. It really adds to the game and provide a fun thing that wanders around to grab sheep.
Nice job on the gameplay overall. :)
