This game combines the cookie clicker and tower defense genres.

You basically play normal tower defense, but you earn money by clicking on your factory, which you have to protect.

I got some kind of glitch where I tried to click on the menu button, which was a bit off screen to the left, and it opened but then disappeared and suddenly all the SFX/music switched off.

Other than that little mishap though, this got very addictive! I really enjoyed it! Only problem is I ran out of enemies to shoot! :)

I'm glad you like it :). Do you mean the menu button on the end screen? Because it works fine for me... ( Sorry if my English is wrong, I'm German and 15 Years old ).

Hey, not bad at all, I really enjoyed it!
I think the price progression is a little bit off, and that you should improve the start UI where you explain how everything works, but I must say that it's a really great idea, and I'm impressed you were able to put two genres as deeply convoluted as those two are together!

Cool game ^^ The enemies are odd, but that's ok x) I like your game, that is a great combinaison you did :) You made a music, that is a good point too :)

I enjoyed the concept! You had a really great idea however I definitely would suggest tweaking some things.

1) Make the place where you are suppose to click much more apparent, maybe something like a red box or something eye catching around it until you click it for the first time.

2) Add more feedback for hitting enemies

3) Define the upgrades better for each tower, I wanted to buy an upgrade but I didn't know what I was buying!

Other than that, the game is actually really fun and by tweaking some values (how much an upgrade cost) I think the game would be even more fun! Thanks for submitting this :)

I like your suggestions and will add them. To your third point: You can see the upgrades in the main menu, but you're right that there should be a short description or something in the level.

Nice game for your first entry. It works very well. I didn't like how the side menu overlapped the map though. I would prefer a smaller map, and a fixed menu. The music was a little messy, but cool sfx. Overall great entry, and good luck! :)

Congratulations on your first entry! I'm super sorry your teammate left you in the midst of the jam, It's one of the absolute worst feelings. I think that despite this you came up with a really good concept and, with some refinement, this could be a great title. I hope you keep working on it!

Thank you so much... @megamasterx My teammate left me, because it came out, that he could not do anything. But in the end he didn't disturb me and even helped me a bit with the pattern of one map, so that's ok.

Very addictive combo! I was having trouble until I started fortifying my base instead of building all around, which I liked. I just wish there was a subtle click sfx when you clicked on the base so you knew when you were getting money.

I really liked the fact that it was challenging from the begining. I ended up using mostly arches and upgrading only after filling every tile since upgrades only increase range right? Got pretty far until I died, was very fun and addicting to play well done

Thanks for your feedback. Upgrades don't only increase range, they also increase your tower's damage and your the delay between shots get less .You can see all the upgrades in the main menu ;)

It's a solid little game! However, I found the clicker-side of the genre-blending a little lacking. The one major meter for progression in any idle game is the autoclickers. There should be some sort of buildings that generate money, very slowly in the beginning but increasingly fast the more you upgrade them. Especially combined with limited building room this could give some interesting balancing decisions for the player - do I spend the money to get couple of bucks more in the long run or use the space for damaging towers?

Also tower targeting priorities seem a bit wonky, I think they should target the enemies that are nearest to the castle, instead of just the nearest. In some tower defense games you can manually set which enemies the towers will prioritize, though I understand that this might be too much asked for a jam game πŸ€“

I played several rounds, so obviously you did a good job. Congrats on your first LD game and keep on jamming!

Super addictive game, I love the mecanics. Clicking on a mouse is kinda tiring, not like on a phone, but in general I really liked playing this! ![clickerdefense.png](///raw/81e/2/z/14a49.png)
