This is out Strategy/Stealth Game.

Unfortunately we ran out of time. Today we managed to lose our original unfinished and buggy version, so you can try this post-ludum dare entry with 3D animated textured graphics. nIoNDul.jpg

---Instructions---

Ninjas are on the loose and comming for your castle. To protect yourself you need to first reveal them using revealer. Then either use units or defensive towers. Your goal - Survive and destroy ninja camp. Do not let your population drop to 0. More detail - comming!! (after fix!)

Buildings:

Revealer - Reveals ninjas.

Farm - Generates food.

House - Increases gold production and population limit.

Barracks - You can hire knights and archers here. You can hire max half of your population (for now).

Warehouse - Increases resource cap.

Arrow Tower - Defensive building which attacks ninjas if they are revealed.

Watch Tower - Reveals map.

It looks nice, but like xmatos I couldn't figure out what to do. The game would benefit from some instructions on how to play.

Similarly to the others, I played around for a bit and but couldn't really get the gameplay. Though I did win after making a few units :) Art assets look like someone put in a some quality time, props on that! Message me back if you release another version and I'll give it a go and re-rate.

The controls felt good, and the game looked nice. As previously noted, a tutorial of some sort would be nice. The mechanics were pretty easy to grasp though, so that's not a huge deal. The only criticism I would offer is that the gameplay lacks depth, and there's not really a better strategy than spamming units. Overall, well done. :grinning:

Very ambitious project for a Ludum Dare game! Game played well enough. I wish all the buildings were fully functional. Didn't really have much to do other than spamming dudes. These games are always hard to balance. For future LDs, I'd recommend simplifying (one resource, one tower type, one attacker, etc) just to make sure everything works. Appreciate the effort though! And I won!

error logs/messages or even problem description would help.

Took a while to understand what to click on or what to do, a quick overlay at the beginning explain the UI and game objectives would help a lot! I got a "You Died" message as soon an enemy attacked my barracks, which seemed odd - I assume buildings should have health or do I have to stop enemies from entering my base? As I say, you need to explain the rules in the game :)

@tomasara413 i cannot unzip it, the rar file is corrupted (and i have paid winrar). i managed to get it working with 7zip though!

Tried playing again and no one seems to be doing damage to each other - I assume the numbers above the heads of each unit is their health?
