Stealth Action Road Construction

My two genres were stealth and road construction. The basic gameplay is find the jack hammer, use it on all the rocks on the level and then go to the next level. But you should avoid having anyone hear you. Sounds are indicated by blue circles, if a gawking person(the really ugly walking models) hears you they will chase you and you'll lose the level if they catch up. If a truck hears you then you lose the level immediately. Also if a truck hits a rock then you lose the level too. To avoid having a truck hit a rock, either break the rock before the truck gets to it, or push a cone into it's way.

Find and play the game here:

Controls:

wasd for movement

j to pick up the jack hammer

k to use the jack hammer

Source:

The source code can be found on the web page, it's all just js and html. And uses THREE js.

Almost missed the submission hour fiddling with the upload ...

Page isn't loading for me, just a white screen :( Safari on MacOS. Seems like shader issues looking at the console, ""WARNING: 0:1: extension 'GL_ARB_gpu_shader5' is not supported"

But, CONGRATS on making a game :D GG!

Congrats on submitting! I thought the first level was very challenging, especially with one cone. Having a key to reset the level would be nice! Also sometimes after multiple resets I got locked into always walking right and falling off the map.

Hey thanks for playing, or trying :). I will need to keep safari in mind next time (I programmed it all on firefox... whoops), if I get some time I may attempt a port, since I believe it's allowed after time.

I had a bit of a bug. If I got "found out" while moving, the movement would stick and still be going in subsequent games, until you refresh the page. Also if you fall off you just have to wait until those slow moving cars got to the boulders or refresh the page. Messed up the pacing a bit for me.

Overall, good work and nice concept. Good job getting it out there!

Somewhat buggy as mentioned above, and the hitboxes for the cars were kind of big. Also, trying to blast the rocks with the jackhammer was quite unreliable as the keypresses would often miss. Once I got the hang of it, it was pretty fun though. Good job!

I like the idea, but for me it was very frustrating to play. The collision detection was very sensitive
